    Right on Steven the git.
I get the feeling there doing this film for Chris Carter.
    And the fans.

Don't ask me why but Anderson has been over here in the UK quite a bit since the X Files. She starred in a big BBC production of a Charles Dickens story last year or the year before. Yes, and the theatre.

Well its been about 6 years since "the lone Gunmen"(xfiles spinoff) went off the air so X-flies , about 5 years since they have been off the air.
Duchovney is on Showtimes "Californication" and Anderson still works in theatre and films.
I heard that Anderson made allmost a mil. per ep on X-files season 9. And Duchovney has his own production company. So I don't think there hurting for cash.

This should be a good FBI caper film. If its a success I would expect a few sequels.

I can't imagine this movie will do well. How many years has it been since this show went off the air? It just looks like the actors need work.

I was never a fan tho...

The photo of Mulder next to his poster. Hmm.

Makes me wonder if he's going thru what's left of his office?
  • Mulder
the first movie was great. Loved it. I am an avid collector of the show and can not wait to see this new movie! I hope we see a nice presence from Skinner as well as a great scary as hell story line. I hear that this movie is going to be kinda gruesome...so lets wait and see!

The movie wasn't as good as the shows, I'll agree, but did think it was quite good and really liked it. Hope this does well.

I enjoyed the first film , even though the story didn't measure up to the typical show plot lines.
I miss Skully and Mulder ; I really hope this next film does very well.

    Gary,

I haven't seen the first film in a few years- but I'm getting ready to revisit it - and I hope that it holds up - saying that - I didn't enjoy it that much when I watched it. I feel it wasn't as good as the show.

I can't wait for this new film!

I am of two minds about this film .
On one hand i wasnt a fan of mythology episodes.
But in many ways the first film was one huge mythology episode ,
    And I LOVED it!
ever since I saw the first season episode Ice
I became convinced the answers to the many mysteries of the series could be traced back to the ice age .
So, when the the movie started there I was thrilled!
and then to flash forward to a childrens playground where this ancient secret was hidden underneath , to me that is the essence of a lot of the episodes they set in in small town america.
And the terrorist bombing coverup made sense to me .
After all, Oklahoma City was still fresh in our minds.
I thought the movie was entertaining and it answered a lot of questions I had about the series.
So, if they have come up with a horror story
that is as well written as the first film with some alien mythology or technology thrown in I will be very happy.
