I’ve always thought the Punisher was a very cool character. The basic premise for the Punisher mythos is very much like many action movies.
Comic book fans will go to see this and action movie fans will go to see this. Punisher has TWO built in audiences.
I think this movie has a good chance to do quite well.

Why they didn’t go with this look for the lighting instead of neon and sodium yellow lighting is kinda dumb fonding.

Posters looks like the comics, hopefully the movie will capture the same dark tone as the comic…

Mike: The neon light mirrors from the style MAX comic series.

I know, it still looks bad. Why they thought taking their lighting cues from some bad digital coloring in the comic was a good idea, still confuses me.

1. What worked on the page, doesn’t always work on the screen.
2. To paraphrase Tim Bradstreet: Just because a movie is based on a comic, doesn’t mean it has to look like one.
