As proof that we really do love you Twilight fans here at Screen Rant, we’ve got a double whammy for you today: First, a pic of the (very shirtless) young men who will be running with the recently revealed Wolf Pack in this Fall’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Second, we’ve got an update on who the powers that be over at Summit Entertainment might be eyeing to direct the Twilight series’ next installment, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Now for a look at the boys of the Wolf Pack (ladies, take a deep breath):
The Wolf Pack is ready to get hairy.
Ok, so I can’t even tell you how weird I felt posting that pick. But I digress…
The actors in the pic are Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier. In the novel, the Wolfpack (who protect humanity against the Vampires) were Native Americans living in a small community. What’s cool about New Moon the movie is that they’ve stayed true to the novel, hiring a cast of all Native American actors to play the Wolf Pack. I dig it.
ECLIPSE DIRECTOR UPDATE
Nikki Finke is whispering that director David Slade, who up until now has been known for harder-edge fare like Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night is being eyed to direct the third installment of the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Slade has reportedly taken meetings with Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer and Summit president of production, Erik Feig. No deal has been signed yet, but a meeting of that stature means Slade is likely in the running.
Hmmm… David Slade doing a Twilight film? Now that could be interesting. Certainly a better choice then frickin Drew Barrymore!

I think David Slade could possibly be a good director for the third movie. I absolutely loved Hard Candy but hated 30 Days of Night. But I can still see why they would want to pick him. The third books is full of suspense and action with multiple vampire fighting scenes.
I could see him working out.

Hell Yeah these are some sexy Natives!! Native Pride!! I’m glad they did stick 2 the book and get natives 4 the wolf pack! The only one that ruins it is Jacob because he is not Native American at all! Why have one non-indian and the rest indians?? Doess’t make sense huh. Oh well…. I hope it is a good movie!!
Oh….my….gosh.
I was kinda hoping for something a little less…..well….yeah….so i could make it a desktop, maybe even a poster in my room. No such luck. If my dad saw that, he’d KILL me.The 1 wolfy that sticks out is Paul, portayed by Alex Meraz(far left, you’ll see him). He seems very into it.Me like overall, but again….no such luck.
