Looks like the part where he experiments with the repulsor as a “flight stabilization system”..

Very vool! Do you think this is part of the NEW trailer?

BTW,I just showed the first IM trailer to 3 non comic book people, hell, they don’t even watch many sci fi films, and their reactions were “WHOA! AWESOME!! Looks incredibly exciting!” and “I’ll have to see that”.

I’m tellin’ ya guys,IM is gonna be HUGE! :-D

I can’t wait to see him in the full armor sans the helmet. I fully intend to pass out from the awesomeness of it. I’m not expecting it until it shows up on a magazine cover or something around the time the movie comes out.

This is probably the first picture where I went “OH man Tony Stark” and not “Oh man look at how much RDJ looks the part of Tony Stark” if you get what I mean.

I’m probably going to see it three times on the opening day. I’ve already got May 2nd schedueled off from work so I can catch the Midnight showing. :D

I’m really happy for this film as well as for Robert Downey Jr. He’s
totally underated.
And has come back from his addiction problems. In so
many ways he’s soo like the real Stark. Its a no brainer that’s he’s perfect for this role. And I’m so diggin it. !!

Check
Chaplin: amazing,
And Less then Zero. Chilling….This guy is a star!
I can’t wait is a understatment for this Ironman film!
^
Ps folks I want a film with Downey Jr and Depp…..!

Geez, I hadn’t even THOUGHT about multiple viewings in the same day… you’d think that would have occurred to me. :-)

The last time I sat thru a film more than 3 times in one day it was Star Wars back in 77.
^
I sure hope this film is as good.

Guys, I hope I’m wrong but I just keep thinking “Is this going to be another Spiderman 3″. The trailers look good; the stills look good; the anticipation is astounding. This was the same thing that happened with Spidey 3, and it was less than stellar. Like I said, I hope I’m wrong because like all of you, I’ve wanted this for years. In any event, I think I’ll hold off going to the midnight show.

I can’t wait until April 30! It’s part of my job to pre-screen all of the movies to make sure they are splyced right and have no scratches. God I can’t wait!

So John when do you get to see Cloverfield?
^
And how’s the Trek trailer….

Oops sorry I don’t mean to hijack this thread …

Yes I think like Spiderman 3, eahhm, this film is going to really kick Stark that franchise for years. I sure hope Downey Jr stays on to play Stark for all 10 of the sequels!!!

Great movie quote today:

“sorry dave……I cannot do that…”

((Corection last post))

I meant Derek not John,

However John IMO,
I thought Spidey 3 was the best one.:)

Steve, my sisters were wondering why I came down soo hard on Spidey 3 as well. I don’t know, I just thought he was too….cry-babyish and the tone of the movie was too serious, IMHO. I liked it but I thought it was the worst of the 3.

What did you think of X-Men 3? I went to the midnight showing of that and was also disappointed.

steve adams said,

Yeah John, X-men 3, didn’t work…..
^
It had some great momments but the entire Phoenix plotline was pointless. The way that she killed off Dr Xavier didn’t fit we’ll with me.And her alliance with Magneto didn’t make any sense to me ether. The entire film was just a revenge filled mess.
^
I thought the scene at the beginning of the last battle was halarious when it went from daytime to nighttime in a matter of seconds.
^
Then at the end when Magneto was vulnerable Wolverine let’s him live??? Wtf. Kill him!!! End his evilness , gheesh.
^
Horrible waste of the franchise…
I can’t say I blame the Director it seems like the film was doomed from the script. :)

Lastly….X3,,

I will say I thought Juggernaut was very well cast and portrayed.

And I did love it when Mystique lost her powers….

Steve,
I will get to see Cloverfield on the 16th and I’ll let you know.
