New Iron Man Movie Armor Image

There hasn’t been much Iron Man movie news lately, so let’s take what we can get. A regular Screen Rant reader alerted me to a new full head to toe Iron Man armor image.
It’s very similar to a previous image that while very cool, looks like it was taken at a neighborhood family portrait studio. The photo seems to have been taken at the same time but shows the armor in a different pose.
Not much to add beyond that, really. You can check it out after the jump.
I think the next big, new look at the movie won’t happen until we see whatever Paramount decides to show us during the upcoming Super Bowl.

Whoa!! That is SWEET!! I hope we get some new footage in the next trailer for IM. I’ll be watching the superbowl for just that reason!!
They could make robert look a little taller by not making his ankles so huge.

That reminds me… If I read it right on CNN, Ryan Seacrest (no jokes) will be hosting some sort of pre-game show interviewing cast members of movies advertised during the super bowl. Definitely need to find out if that is true and if the IM cast will be among them.
Lord knows I’ll watch the Super Bowl anyway, but it is an annual tradition of mine to skip the 5,000 hours of pregame coverage.

That is an awesome-looking suit, even if I don’t buy that Robert Downey Jr. could have welded it together in a dirty bunker.

Vic, I know why its like that, but they make the pulsors super small and stuff, I’m just saying appearance is everything anyway, why not do like batman did with making the cowl more flexible.
Yeah, I hear you. But I think that if the boots were TOO small people would have a harder time believing the flight capability.
And while I like that Bale can now turn his head in the batsuit, I think it makes him look more like a pencil-neck, unfortunately.

The pencil neck is easier to look at than some one having to move their whole upper body to look around. At least now he can actually fight, and look in a different direction than what hes holding or punching.
Oh, I agree. I always thought that was a really dumb design for a guy who has to fight multiple attackers. I just wish they had managed to slim down the cowl from the front view so it didn’t stick out from the neck so far.
Then again, it’ll probably look fine in the movie.

Iron Man looks like it’s going to be good. I hope, like all comic book fans, that they didn’t screw it up. We’ll see in a few weeks.
