He would be easily noticeable. Besides what bad guy would have the guts to shoot Batman when he is dressed like a gladiator? They would totally wet their pants. And the bat symbol in the yellow eclipse would also be more visible in the darkness. Bat's go to jump out of nowhere if the criminals are going to take the full effect of his costume. I don't see why they just don't make the shirt and pants armor gray (grey is it?)....
