What better way to end the evening of the Oscars with a brand new trailer for our most anticipated movie of the year, Iron Man 2. Earlier this week we reported that following the 82nd Academy Awards Ceremony, Robert Downey Jr. would be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live and bringing with him something fans would have to stay tuned in for to see: The second, brand new Iron Man 2 trailer!
Director Jon Favreau informed the world this week that the trailer would appear online shortly after it airs as part of this evening’s Jimmy Kimmel Live so the international viewers don’t have to wait and here it finally is:
The first Iron Man 2 trailer gave us our first glimpse of Don Cheadle as War Machine and some shots of other new characters joining the franchise, including Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and Mickey Rourke’s Whiplash. This new trailer gives us a whole bunch more!

Holy cow… we’ve got more of Natasha, more War Machine and yes, we were RIGHT: Suitcase collapsible armor, baby!! Our own Paul Young was the first person to deduce that there would be a version of the armor that is a long time staple of the comic book: Compact, collapsible and portable Iron Man armor.
Seeing this tonight makes me that more excited to find out who will be joining the cast of Captain America and what the characters and sets of Thor look like. It’s a good time to be a comic fans or moviegoer.

Kind of hints at it with the funding line from I think “Rockwell” aka Justin Hammer. Could be wrong on the who, trying to stay away from plot spoilers.
I liked the first trailer much better. This one follows the Hollywood trend of giving too much away. I got a sense of the movie being much darker and serious from the first trailer and the opposite from the second one. I wander how it will turn out?
The suitcase armor is definitely BADASS and along with Mickey Rourke, it's definitely the highlight of the trailer. I'm much more interested in Rourke's character now than Downey's.

yeah but by the looks of it he just uses whiplash to make more suits… and there hasnt been any pics/previews of his full suit thus far.
it would be cool seeing him in his full black and red suit, that would be epic.

The latest trailer for Iron Man 2 is out and it doesnt disappoint. As expected it is not that good not bad either. So not a problem if we plan for a nice time out for a day or so.

I fell asleep before the trailer but woke up to a marvelous morning.
IRON MAN 2: = MAGNIFICENCE!!!!
I will be the first to admit that this looks fantastic and awesome and cool. But I worry that in an attemp to make it all of those things, the story will start to suffer and that it could begome a movie of cool sequences and one liners without the backbone to prop it up.
The first movies only failing was poor plotting and a slightly weak story, certainly towards the end.

gaaaaaaaaahhhh!!! That looks SICK!!!! So much Armor! Rockwell is soooo good at playing that slimy/conniving villain too.
I'm almost more excited about the fact that at least 2 other Avengers Characters (Fury, Widow) are in the movie, than all the armor; But then I saw War Machine and thought, 'nothing about this movie can disappoint me' ::)
This is gonna be good. I'm in computer apps right now watching it with no volume and still I can tell this trailer is awesome!! And yep you guys were right about the suitcase armor! That's awesome!

I agree. I already trusted Screen Rant before, but getting it right a year ahead of time? That takes some serious skill. I'm gonna start taking even the slightest rumor as a fact on here now… maybe. But it definitely is impressive

Wouldn't make much sense if he didn't,that's part of him working with Justin Hammer. He makes the mini archs for Hammer's drones Hammer gives him his own suit in return.
