New Fido Trailer

fido New Fido TrailerThere’s a brand new trailer out for the zombie comedy (or “zom-com” if you’re hipper than I am) Fido. I reviewed it back in January after I saw it at the Sundance Film Festival, and absolutely loved it (even before they used one of my quotes in their poster). It stars Billy Connolly, who gives a great performance and Carrie-Anne Moss (yes, from The Matrix).

I notice that when the poster was first released it stated the movie was rated PG-13, which surprised me, but the new trailer and poster list the movie as being rated R, which makes more sense. They would have had to edit the heck out of it to get it down to a PG-13.

Fido is a really funny movie that shows what might happen if you crossed Dawn of the Dead with Leave it to Beaver. icon smile New Fido Trailer It’s funny but in a different way than Shaun of the Dead… it’s a lighter movie and in my opinion, funnier. This is one of those movie you might not think about seeing, but you should definitely check it out if you don’t mind a little gore with your comedy.

Thanks to /Film for pointing this out.

Fido opens June 15th, 2007.

  1. I’ve seen this twice now and surprisingly, I laughed just as much the second time as the first. For me, that a sign of a good comedy. A fun time for sure!

  2. Just bought Fido on the previously viewed section at my local BlockBuster. Love the Screen Rant comment on the front. I will be honest and tell you that is the reason I bought it, now I wish I would have seen it a long time ago. Thanks Vic.
