Regular readers know how I hate to use YouTube trailers, but until a better version comes out (which I’ll update this post with when available), check out the latest trailer for Hancock, the Will Smith superhero movie.

I’ve thought from day one that this was going to be a cool, fun movie, and with this latest trailer even the naysayers are starting to come around. icon smile New Extended Hancock Trailer Sells Movie Better It premiered during American Idol this week and came out of the blue as no one seemed to be expecting it.

You can watch the crappy YouTube version below. Eventually there will be a much better version in it’s place here.

Based on that, what do you think?

Hancock is scheduled to open on July 2nd.

  1. Ok….

    …Im there dude.

Supe films are my weakness anyway…but this actually looks good. And its somethign DIFFERENT for a change.

I thought it was going to be ‘My Super Ex Gilfriend’ with a boatload of ‘Aww, HELL no!”s…but it looks like it could work.

Peter Berg makes fantastic, dark films that suffer from slight flaws….I hope he covers the cracks a little better on this one, hes a talented dude.

Oh and Bateman?? Much love bruh!

  2. Looks promising as being funny, but for a likable supe not really. I know its meant mostly to be funny, but like Vic posted during the last Hancock news “we might have a new supe on our hands” but I can’t stand overpowered supes. Especially Superman.

  3. Yup! The new trailer made this look a heck of a lot more appealing – and with Smith.. this could be pretty good.

  4. I was down for this when I saw Hancock throw that whale back into the water.
And what a funny line afterwards.
    “I don’t even remember that”

I hope they explain how he got the power.

  5. This looks to be brilliant, can’t wait. REALLY looking forward to this. I love will smith and superhero movies.
