I am remaining optimistic the film will find its own audience and reward the studio for taking such a wonderful chance on a film like this. I'm really looking forward to a darkly animated tale and this one looks like it will satisfy on every level. When I first saw the original short I was amazed at it's ability to tell a rich story and portray such emotion from the characters (not just the little rag dolls but the monster as well). One can only imagine how well they will come alive in a full length movie. and just a side note, I love the character 7. Can’t wait for this.

It looks too scary for most kids and a lot of adults will see it is "animated" and shy away from it. I certainly hope I am wrong because I would love to see more adult oriented animation but I fear it will suffer at the box office due to pre-conceived notions.
