Following in the success of The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On, the new show The Ultimatum: Queer Love was announced by Netflix, and it's time to share facts about the highly-anticipated sequel series. The Ultimatum: Queer Love season 1 has been confirmed to feature five LGBTQ+ couples with female and non-binary partners in same-sex relationships. They're divided, as one partner issued a marriage ultimatum to their partner, which has yet to be answered. The new season of the hit show will drop its first batch of episodes on Netflix on May 24, though a lot of information is already known about the format and cast members.

The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On premiered in 2022, as romance experiment show, Love Is Blind's sister show. The first season featured male-female couples who were at a crossroads in their relationships, a format that will be carried over to the follow-up show, The Ultimatum: Queer Love. The show first has couples split before they date within their group, and then form new couples at “the choice.” The new couples then live together for several weeks before the original couples get back together. At the end of the show, couples decide if they will stay together and move towards marriage or split, and either remain single, or leave with someone new.
