Upfront week is upon us and news is breaking about which new shows will make it to air next fall and throughout the upcoming season. Previously, we told you about the new shows that will fill out Fox's Fall Schedule and now it's time to talk about the 11 new shows (5 comedies, 8 dramas) that will live on NBC next season.

A consistent ratings under-performer, NBC is aligning itself with some proven names to try and change their trajectory. Those names include former Better Off Ted showrunner Victor Fresco, Parenthood and Friday Night Lights producer Jason Katims, Michael J. Fox, Bill Lawrence, J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuaron for the sci-fi drama, Believe, as well as Luther creator Neil Cross for Crossbones. Is the next Revolution in here? Maybe the next Office, or another long-term performer that will help lead the way toward recovery for NBC?

To help with your quick assessments of each series, we’ve broken the shows down to give you a better idea of what you can expect. It’s creators’ vision which fuels the heart of the show; producers’ responsibility is to help shape those ideas for television audiences; pilot directors set the visual tone for the entire series and paint the picture that other directors follow.
