Yes, there are some shows missing from this list because what I suspect you are looking for is going to premiere after the Olympics or mid-season.  Those would be Chuck, Day One and Mercy.

From what I see, unless Southland takes off, NBC is going to continue to be outside the top-10 in ratings.  Does anyone see anything I’m missing… that is besides completely decimating the 10 o’clock hour with their new comedy show of Jay Leno?  Oh, I just can’t wait. (Sarc)

Are there any shows in particular that you’re excited to see start back up this fall?

  1. On this list? Just football and L&O, so the grand NBC experiment begins. I don’t think it’s much of experiment though. I’m sure the Leno show will do as well as any of the dramas they had in those 5 slots last season. From a profit perspective it will be good for the shareholders and bad for the viewers under 55 and the actors, and the writers and the producers and the… I just hope CBS and ABC don’t follow suit.

This lineup does get me excited in a way, besides Law and Order and Football I will have more reading time now.

    Thank you NBC

  2. Yea, there’s not much that enthralling at all on this list of comedies!!

LAW & ORDER(S), HEROES maybe, I do like THE BIGGEST LOSER. I’ve found myself watching SOUTHLAND here and there.

For their sake, I hope LENO breaks even or makes them money because they’ve alienated a few by ripping out the 10 o’clock schedule for their biggest platform, or at least that’s what I see LENO as, from the way they’re treating it.

  3. I think for except for Sunday, NBC will be lower than the CW this season. I also never thought but we might see the first television network get a bail out.

  4. Except for Heroes, and SVU, there is nothing on there I will watch unless the Giants are on SNF. I thought that Chuck was a great lead in to Heroes. Now Heroes is going to lead in to an ER knockoff? Wow. It’s like they’re TRYING to get Heroes to fail. NBC is barely above The CW in terms of shows worth watching now.

    So far, for me:

    Mondays…NBC (for now)
    Wednesdays.ABC or Discovery/History
Thursdays…CW (NBC sure has fallen from Must See TV, haven’t they?)
    Saturdays..movie night! 😛

  5. NBC sucks for letting “My Name is Earl” go. Damn there karma !!!! I don’t watch tv anymore anywhoo.
Here’s my Tv schedule. (All subject to change due to mood swings)
Monday: Sopranos Season 6/ episode 14-15.

Tuesday: Sopranos Season 6/ episode 16
Wednesday: Sopranos Season 6/ episodes 17-18.

Thursday: Sopranos season 6/ episodes 19-2O.

Friday: Sopranos SERIES FINALE!! Reno 911 season 5/ episodes 5-6-7

    Saturday: The Last Castle (movie)

Sunday: Weeds Season 4 episodes 1 and 2.

After Weeds has concluded BSG season 4.5 begins.

  6. Football, and the Office is about the only thing I’ll be watching on NBC these days. I originally liked Southland, but thought it got old…fast.

  7. Casey P, is The Office getting better with age? I haven’t watched it since season 2.

  8. I know I am in the minority, but I don’t find “The Office” funny at all. I have tried watching with my GF (who likes it) several times, and it just seemed really stupid to me. I like Steve Carrell, but maybe I just don’t “get” the humor. Kinda like I didn’t get the humor in “Arrested Development.”

Now, “My Name is Earl” was hysterical.

  9. I’m with you Andy S.

  10. Biggest Loser! Can’t wait!!

  11. I cant wait for Law & Order SVU To air!!

  12. I still think Knight Rider season 2 needs to be on this list:(

  13. How could they do that to Chuck??! That’s an awesome show and not giving it a full season proves how stupid the people at nbc are.

  14. Just fyi, Reno 911! was canceled today.
