I agree it did have a few “oops”, IMO but believe the story is entertaining and unique. I be staying tuned for next week.

I was confused a bit at first which is why it almost lost me at the very beginning. I didn’t get the sense that they were going to completely delete Henry, just restore a back up of before he stopped “working”.

I was thrown for a minute when they put the fish bowl on his head. Fortunately, that scene was over quickly or I would have been laughing.

I like both of his characters. I didn’t find myself waiting impatiently for the other guy to show up. I was equally happy watching Edward or Henry. And at the end, both.

I also think that the family is artifical. It just seems so “white picket fence”. I can’t believe they’d throw the creation of Henry out there to make it on his own.

I’m very interested in a person who would willingly do that to themselves. What happened that made it ok to fracture yourself – literally. I have a hard time believing it was for love of country since he’s not very good at following orders. It should be fun finding out.

Hopefully Christian Slater will finally have a success with this. He’s due.

prtfvr: I;m thinking out loud and brain storming here:

Possibly Edward, being the insomniac that he is, will turn out to not like the down time between assignments.

Imagine if you will, your entire waking existence being nothing but one adrenaline packed task after another.

OR

He may be an insomniac because he wants to get as much time awake as possible, knowing he will be away for any number of days.

The possibilities are quite endless with this configuration, and yea, I can only hope that NBC runs with this one in the right direction.

prtfvr says:

I was thinking about it too. I think that he Edward considers himself “sleeping” when Henry is awake. What do you think.

I love a show that makes me wonder about it [in a good way] well after I’ve seen it. This is encouraging.

Why is it assumed that everyone has a DVR? I sure don’t, don’t have digital cable or satellite tv, I just download shows or watch them online later, lol.

FYI, I still have a VCR hooked up so I can tape things just in case, lol.

Patch says:

I saw the show, thought Slater did a good job, better than I expected…I don’t understand the spy/not a spy idea…if Edward gets caught he is still Edward, of course he happened to switch to Henry in the first episode, so what would be the point for the company to give Edward another personality? Why not just have him live a “normal” life under an assumed name and do spy things when needed?

DISCLAIMER:

DVR is a reference to any recording or viewing resource that allows one to view a program at a later date beyond the original mainstream air date a show is telecast.

How’s that Ken?

DVR (And like technology) would seem to be the popular methodology of watching shows these days, so I tend to use that term as a coined approach.

My bad.

btw: I don’t have one either… yet.

Patch: I hear ya, but where’s the fun in that?

Maybe he’s such an adrenaline junkie, he can’t live under cover, or the the Bourne thing where like the other agents that are called to stop Bourne, he lays in bed, waiting for the call to put him into action. (At least one of them was like that.)

You’ll get my DVR when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

:-P

Ken J says:

LOL Bruce, I was just giving you a hard time. :-P

I’m going to convert my current computer into a DVR once the new X58 Intel chipset is released and I build a new computer with that new CPU as my main computer. Hm, that would bring my number to 5 computers in my house… Damn I’m a nerd… :-(

Nerd!!??

Nah… one for business, one for games and vids, one for disk storage, a laptop for the wife.. (She does not come near my toys) one for me on the couch… see, 5.. all with practical application.

crap… where do i sign up?

Vic? Hopefully you aren’t clutching your DVR when you pass on… You may want to sign up too!
