  1. There is just so much to choose from. The Innkeeper impressed me a bit and so did the Source Code posters as well. And while the X-men posters are NOT by no means great, I like em.

    • Out of all the posters and promo pieces, the ones for Innkeeper interested me the most. For some reason, the first one reminded me of 80s mystery books for teens, but I don’t feel like the movie will be for teens.
The turquoise Source Code poster was also well made. Too bad the first one wasn’t as intelligent. Regardless, I don’t plan on seeing the movie as I’m not much of a Jake Gyllenhaal fan, and it looks like both he and his sister (?) are in the movie.

  2. I. Hate. You.

I get ALL excited about the Arrested Development poster, and my first thought seeing it (before reading beneath it) is: “Is this seriously what they thought of?”

There was a moment when I was relieve when I read that it wasn’t real, which was instantaneously replaced by the thought: “Wait, this is a joke? Now I’m unhappy again!”

  3. Nice to have this back, really enjoy this weekly feature. Thought the Cars 2 posters were pretty cool with their international feel. That Thor standee is pretty awesome too.

  4. Game of Thrones is what really stands out to me. It makes me want to bring back my HBO subscription. . Also the Innkeepers poster and the synopsis for Detention both seem very interesting.

    • agreed

  5. Hi Magneto,

I hope I am not being rude when I tell you that your Fassbender seems to be showing.

Sorry, didn’t mean to embarrass you.

    WAIT!! Put the car dow-

  6. The X-men posters are quite bad. They say nothing and speak of boredom. for shame

  7. The problem with the THOR standee is that some drunk sob is going to grab the hammer and attempt to swing the whole thing and hit the floor. I for one hope the base has a few hundred pounds in it… :P

  8. The Innkeepers made me think of the Drew Struzan posters from the 80′s. Those where great movie posters. And I have to agree that the X-Men posters shown here are terrible. They are kind of a rip off of the Episode I poster with Vader as the shadow of Young Anakin.

  9. The X-men posters look as though 8th graders made them.

    • More like 6th graders, if you ask me. Embarrassing to say the least.

      • More like 3rd graders learning Photoshop. Absolutely horrible for what is supposed to be a summer tentpole for Fox.

  10. I liked the posters for the Source Code. The 2nd one had a very vintage poster feel to it. I hope the movie is as good as the posters!
