Dark Tide

Synopsis: Shark expert Kate Mathieson (Halle Berry) returns to the Great White infested waters of isolated Guadalupe Island for the first time since her own near-deadly shark attack. When her husband (Olivier Martinez) chooses ambition over his wife’s safety in a split-second encounter with the jaws of death, Kate’s marriage nearly breaks apart. A year later, a monsoon-season voyage back to the same island becomes an escalating series of terrifying underwater confrontations and gut-wrenching emotional challenges. Testing her courage in the face of nature’s ultimate terror, she shows herself as tough as the men she is attracted to — and perhaps the bravest of all. Kate endures and changes the terms of the contest with mankind’s most feared underwater predator.

  1. Handful of great movie posters, but isn’t ‘Real Steel’ basically Sock’em Bop’em robots?

    • Yep

  2. I think I’ll be watching quite a few of these movies. Father’s Day seems frighteningly interesting.

  3. Wait which one was John Goodman? I love him. But The Artist looked like a foreign film. With a poorly translated synopsis maybe? haha

  4. My personal favorites (in no particular order) were the posters for: Don’t be Afraid of the Dark, Colombiana, Masks, and Don’t Let Him In.

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark was particularly creepy, and I like the retro vibe to it.

Now, who knows whether the movies they’re attached to will be any good, but I like the impact the posters had.

  5. Since Ironclad has Sir Derek Jacobi in it, I’ll be looking forward to it. Among his many great roles was a fave of mine called, “Cadfael.” He and the swords and castle story should combine for a good movie.

  6. Conan is a great poster but would you go into massed combat bare chested and sans helmet?? Neither did he which is one of the problems.

Iron Clad and World of the Dead are also ones I am waiting to come out.
