According to Variety:

David Duchovny replaces Andy Garcia in the thriller Phantom Movie News Wrap Up: September 29th 2011

The former X-Files star replaces Andy Garcia in the film, which also stars Ed Harris and William Fichtner. Todd Robinson writes and directs with John Watson, Pen Densham, Julian Adams, Rui Costa Reis and Eliad Josephson producing.

Duchovny is a vastly under-rated actor, while McElhone, Harris and Fichtner always offer great support, so this is one to watch. However, I get the feeling that it won’t bust any blocks.

  1. Duchovny Is not only a fantastic actor, but his show Californication is one of the best on tv. I far prefer it to X-files. It’s the only reason I even know he is a good actor he never showed much range in X-files and I was never a big fan of the show anyway.

    • But can he pull off a “leader of the Soviet special forces team aboard a submarine”

I like his range too and agree he is under used so to speak. However I just dont see him as a Russian anything. :D

  2. as if wiliam took part in more fiction film these days. hehe. it is better if you like. enjoy it and happy.
