It sounds like it might be a nice little genre entry.

2. Writer/director Noah Baumbach is getting ready to direct Ben Stiller and James Franco in While We’re Young. Greta Gerwig and Cate Blanchett are circling the project.

According to Vulture:

“It’s about a free-spirited Brooklynite twentysomething couple who inspire an uptight documentarian and his wife to loosen up — with comedic consequences.”

Baumbach’s last effort with Stiller (and Gerwig)  was the excellent Greenberg - so this has potential.

  1. I can’t wait for Piranha 3DD (nice title lol). More blood, more boobs, more 3D, more fun.

    • Agreed

      • Didnt get to see piranha :(

        • Awwwweee. May be when you’re older 8)

          • He still shouldnt be allowed to watch it.

            • I saw parts of it on my break at work lol,i will see it when it comes out regardless 8-)

  2. Just got back from the Tron Legacy premiere, it was freezing cold, but I saw Jeff Bridges (he’s awesome) and Olivia Wilde (she’s hot!), and got myself a large poster for the film. Cool night!

    • Nice am very jealous plus Olivia wilde is such a hottie where was it

      • Leicester Square in London. Struggled home on the bus with my poster, well worth it though!

          • Yeah I can’t find it anywhere on DVD! On amazon it’s like 20 quid! I’d have thought they would release a special edition about now considering it’s Christmas and there’s a sequel out!

            • I think they’ve missed a trick there not paying £20 for a dvd when I can get both for maybe a fiver more in the new year I did see it for $120 on one site that is ridiculous imo

              • Yeah it’s mental.

I really wanted to watch it before seeing the new film, well I’ll just download it, when I would have happily bought it!

                • yup me to and they say they want to stop downloads then RELEASE THE F****N FILMS SO WE CAN WATCH THEM end of rant lol

                  • Amen!

                    • :P

                • Saw it when it first came out the effects were amazing back then. Only now it would look really dated but still an awesome movie.

                  • It’s been that long I can’t even remember it that well if only I could pick up a copy even to rent it would be nice but no its rarer than a puffins fart

            • Who ever would have thought that the DVD special edition I bought some years ago would be so heavily in demand…. AND still out of print.

If someone hasn’t seen it yet, probably little point in rushing out to see it now, especially if it means you have to put down so much money for it. It may seem quaint to today’s audiences.

              • DrSam

                woah thats awsome man!

  3. Just got back from watching FASTER and the Warrior’s Way. Faster was pretty good and I like the brutality of it. Warrior’s way was ok, it was better than Ninja Assassin except for the end boss fight. Also got participate in a viewing and reviewing of a rough cut of the X-Men First Class trailer. It looks very promising :D

    • I saw Warrior’s Way and was a bit disappointed. Like you said, it was better than Ninja Assassin, which isn’t saying much, but I thought Ninjas used more than just swords. If it were not for the fact that they were assassins, I would have thought they were Samurai. During the film, I kept thinking it was a Japanese version of the show Kung-Fu.

  4. Despite the decerasing weekend totals in the US, I still expect Deathy Hallows to gross over $1 billion worldwide and just edge ahead of Toy Story 3 overall..

Looks like Dowyney Jnr is now the most bankable actor around for movies to gross $100 million in the US.

From looking at Box Office Mojo – was Tangled’s budget really $260 million??

Olivia Wilde is facially very pretty but a bit skinny for my liking.

    • Stood a few feet away from her tonight, she’s hot!

      • Did I mention I’m jealous lol will be checking out pics in the paper tommz lol

        • Oh there was one awful moment, they had a huge screen, and the camera was panning around the crowd.
And tonight I decided to try wearing a new hat, something that I’m fairly certain looks a bit silly but I don’t really care.
I did however care when me and my hat suddenly took centre stage on a fifty foot screen!

          • I will be looking for ya then when they show the premier on tv what kinda hat is it got all kinda images lol

  5. Sounds like some interesting movies coming up. Contraband sounds especially intriguing. I have not seen Harry Potter yet but hear it is very dark. Will be interesting to see how it pans out and compares to the others!

  6. Im hoping DH1 crosses 1 billion worldwide.

  7. SIN187UM, could you tell us a bit more info about that X-men trailer?

did you see some interesting characters there? January Jones?
