[Update: We've added a new Underworld 4 pic of Kate Beckinsale!]

Today marks the beginning of a new weekly feature we are introducing here at Screen Rant – the movie image roundup! We’ve done image posts in the past, but they often only focus on two or three films at a time and usually only some of the bigger and more recognizable upcoming movies.

We’re changing that formula up by taking all the stills, concept art and behind-the-scenes photos we don’t single out during the week and consolidating them into one massive image post every Monday. These posts will have images from a multitude of genres including comedy, animation, romance, action, horror, sci-fi and drama – ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

In today’s image roundup we have 65 images from 15 movies listed in order of their release dates: Sucker Punch, Source Code, Insidious, Scream 4, Water for Elephants, Thor, Attack the Block, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Tree of Life, Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, Cars 2, Haywire, War Horse, Underworld 4: New Dawn and Keyhole.

Enjoy them all and be sure to check back next Monday for a whole new set of images from your favorite upcoming films.

Sucker Punch

Synopsis: Babydoll (Emily Browning) has been locked away against her will, but she has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls—the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)—to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm). Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey—if they succeed—will set them free.

Source Code

Synopsis: When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he’s ever known, he learns he’s part of a government experiment called the “Source Code,” a program that enables him to cross over into another man’s identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.

  1. Wow i can’t wait for underworld, i was wondering when they was gonna start the new movie. I just knew they would of went the rout that was mention in the synopsis about Selene having a child.

    • I am excited about the new Underworld film but I do not know about the synopsis. Seems kind of dry and the BioCom thing creating super Lycans…I don’t know, sounds sort of generic, if not very Resident Evil which works for that title. Still, I will be patient and see how this all works out.

  2. That lady, Gina Cerano, looks a bit thick to be a covert operative.

I would have assumed they would show pictures of the obscure imagination of Baby Doll instead of the hospital.

    • “Curvular” is the term I’d use! In ruder health than Kate Beckinsale’s alarmingly spindly stunt double, anyway. It’s Mr McGregor who needs to fill out those duds a bit better if he wants to stop having sand kicked in his face. :-)

Can’t go wrong with a couple of “Hello Danny” creepy twins, and is that creepy old woman in a gas mask also carrying a hatchet, I wonder? That’s always a dead giveaway…

No interest in War Horse, but Benedict Cumberbatch looks every inch the gimlet-eyed villain of the piece in that officer’s uniform.

      • (And if he isn’t, he should be).

      • Yes, Mr. McGregor definitely needs to eat some more steak and lift a few more barbells.

        • McGregor looks hilarious when he is getting his behind kicked by a girl. HA HA HA HAAAA! :D

  3. Emily Browning is a cutie

    • Yeah she is :)

      • hell yes she is can’t wait for this movie

  4. The “Fatality” picture made me laugh. It would be more intimidating if the “fresh” spine didn’t look like it had a little red sprinkled on it….and not to mention the end vertebrae has a bolt sticking out of it that is holding the spine together….I KNOW….early picture, but still, why release that if it looks corny?

  5. Why is the tree of life story given away in the synopsis? I had to stop reading :/

  6. ooh, the zombies looks awesome!

  7. Gina Carano is hot. the thicker the better! Lol!

    • I agree but it’s hard to see her as some elite special agent type.

  8. Ok, what’s going on?! I just looked up Gina Carano on IMDB and she is definitely not that thick (or as The Big Dentist said, Curvular :-) ). In fact, she was a Maxim girl and one of the American Gladiators. There must be a reason they had her gain so much weight.

  9. Keyhole looks and sounds interesting.
