In general, most people hate Mondays because their weekend has come to a close and the only thing there is to look forward to is lunch – but the start of the work week doesn’t always have to be dreaded and feared. Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

The Ballad of Nessie
Synopsis: A story set in the bonny blue highlands of Scotland, and centered on Nessie, the friendly Loch Ness monster, her best friend MacQuack the rubber duck, and how the duo came to live in the moor they call home. Problems arrive in the form of a land developer named MacFroogle, who wants to build a mini-golf empire on top of Nessie’s home.

Conan the Barbarian
Synopsis: The tale of Conan the Cimmerian (Jason Momoa) and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.

The Onceler, in his greedy state, encounters the Lorax. The Lorax “speaks for the trees because the trees have no tongues”.

The Hobbit Part 1
Synopsis: Local Shire hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), uncle of Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), is living a quiet, peaceful life until Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen) knocks on his door. A band of wandering dwarves shows up one or two at a time. The goal? To hire poor Bilbo for a quest (as a burgler) that entails defeating a dragon and recovering (burgling) a treasure. Along the way there are adventures with trolls and elves, a battle with goblins, the naming of Bilbo’s sword as Sting after a battle with some spiders, escaping from Wargs, and a barrel ride in a river. There is a great battle, The Battle of Five Armies, which includes men, dwarves, elves, goblins with Wargs, and more. Most importantly of all, part of this story leads Bilbo into Riddles in the Dark where he meets Gollum (Andy Serkis) and in the process acquires a peculiar ring that has had and will have a great impact on the future of their world.
The Hobbit Part 1 opens December 19th, 2012.
