  1. #twistending

    Love it.

    • I still don’t get how they are going to let the movie audience choose their adventure? It just screams of despration

  2. I was bored so this is good.

  3. My bad Kofi! I kinda skimmed through the section.

  4. Podcast isn’t playing for some reason. I’ll wait to hear it in stitch now that I know about this awesome and free app.

    Thanks

  5. doesnt work…come on guys! so disappointed.

    • You still having problems drummer113 and terrell?

I’ve been streaming it the last hour with no problems. Might have been a temporary server glitch?

Side note: No c’mon guys allowed! I stuck around an extra four hours tonight to get this podcast up two days early for you all ;) Ha!

      • All good. Much Appreciated

I had to say something controversial, just to show my fan hood

  6. WOW Friday?!?!! NICE!!!!

  7. male Channing Tatum/X-man fan checking in :)

  8. I was hoping you’d throw it up early!
    Thanks as always!

  9. Hearing your live reactions is hilarious.

  10. Didn’t know if anyone thought about this but are the same age. So it’s not like he’s too young.

    • + 1000

  11. Thanx a ton for putting the show up early. It was awesome to hear you guys natural reaction to the Lex Luthor casting news!

  12. I loved hearing you guys react to this news! I’m behind this casting, go Eisenberg.

  13. I totally assumed you guys put this up early because of the Lex Luthor announcement, I was laughing my butt of when you guys heard the news!

  14. “Tony Stark humping that box office and knocking out change” LMAO!!! I’m dying.

  15. I agree with you guys ” Parks and Recs,” with Ron Swanson, is my hero. Thanks to your last podcast you informed me that ‘ Luther,’ has another season for me to catch on the BBC. I watched the first two seasons on NetFlix, I’m hooked, best character drama I’ve seen since the first three seasons of ’24.’. I was pleased when Stitcher told me I had another Screen Rant Underground this week. Great job, plus Rated -R Anthony is Back!!

    • Yay Parks & Rec! Just began season 5 last night #SteamRollin

  16. What a treat! Early posting….does this mean no podcast monday?

    • Correct. We were recording early because of Super Bowl but because of the Eisenberg news bomb, Ben worked extra to put it up Fri :)

  17. Wow thanks for putting this up today! It was great to hear your guys’ live reaction to the Eisenberg casting. My question is whether or not he’ll be bald? haha

Dyce – another male X-men/Tatum fan here!

I may be slightly biased being that Gambit is my favorite character, but I really think that a solo Gambit movie could be very successful. Where I think Fox has gone wrong has usually been by trying to go too big or including too many characters, it could do them really well by just focussing on 1 character and getting it right. There are a lot of great characters from the X-men universe that have interesting stories outside of their X-men duties. If they could alternate between big blockbuster Xmen films, and smaller character focused films, they could build some momentum and credibility. In the Marvel’s streaming service, the recent Gambit series is consistently in the most popular section, and he is frequently listed very highly on lists of most poplar comic characters, let alone X-men.

I saw this a couple days ago, its a spoof Tatum did of JCVD’s split video. It was filmed on the set of 22 Jump Street, and its pretty hilarious. Tatum’s hair is coincidently Gambit length in the clip too… and it doesn’t look ridiculous

  18. This is actually my first podcast listening. And i will be listening to all of the future podcasts now. Keep up the good work guys, its cool to hear you guys riff back and forth and hear your guys true opinions.

    • Welcome to the Underground, Rabbit! I started listening last summer and haven’t missed one yet! Glad you liked it.

      • Yeah I have already went back and listened to a few of them. It was worth it definitely

    • I recommend thatyou also listen to all the previous podcasts. It’s great entertainment and even though they are about yesterday’s news it’s interesting to hear how right or wrong their speculations and theories about things were that have long come to pass since then. ;)

      • Hint: I am never wrong. ;-)

        • You’re dumb Ocasio… You went on a 10 minute rant on how great of an actor Channing Tatum is. You practically were on your knees slobbering that bum Tatum, but you have the audacity to discredit the talents of Jeremy Irons. Are you serious bro? Irons is a great actor and a graduate of the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

How’d you get this gig on Screenrant? Smh.

        • That’s one way to look at it. :D

    • You made my weekend, Rabbit. Thanks for commenting!

      • Glad I could have the honor. :) Have you thought of getting a podcast started for Gamerant? That would be awesome.

  19. The first season of Parks and Recreation was not funny at all and I gave up on it. I’m guessing it got better, so I’m gonna catch up on it.

    • Ya it definitely does. That’s just an intro to the core cast. Once you’re deep into season, and espec when season 3 begins you’re LOLing a lot of the character stuff.

  20. Box Office Battle:
    1. The Lego Movie
    2. The Monuments Men
    3. Vampire Academy
    4. Ride Along
    5. That Awkward Moment
    10. I Frankenstein

  21. Love the show! Surprised you guys didn’t touch on that bizarre new TMNT POSTER

    • We thought about it but we spent so much time talking TMNT last week we’re gonna wait until we get something official.

  22. Yeah good call Rob, I know the next podcast is gonna be awesome simply because of the trailer reveals for the big game Sunday. And ironically enough, after listening to your discussion about zach effron Total Film reported that Zach Efron had auditioned for Episode 7. I guess someone thought Efron HAS earned his spot in one of these franchises.

  23. Its kinda hilarious to listen to you guys for a long time and realize your going in cycles yourself
    examples
“Theres no information about this film, we’re so frustrated”
“Uggh.. we know whats coming, we’re not really excited”
“We dont know anything about it, but that makes it interesting”
    -
From now on Im going to pick the best line of the episode.
Kofis “Twist Ending” was good and well timed but this week goes to Dyce for the line:

“Wait a minute you mean the the two best Marvel films are the ones coming out?”

  24. 1 lego movie
    2 monuments men
    3 vamp diaries
    4 that awkward moment
    5 Labor Day
    10 ride along

  25. How bout this
    Ghostbusters Reboot
    Stars; Will Ferrell(venkman), Ben Stiller(ray), Michael Fassbender(egon), Kevin Hart(Zeddmore), Scarlett Johansson(Dana) and
Patton Oswalt(Tully/and mocap voice of Marshmallow man)

    • :-(

      • You really want those old actors back?

        • This is a Jack in the end of Titanic scenario.

          • I think thats just setting up for failure, they should just cameo or be retired busters.
Maybe it Ghostbuster Academy, and the actors I mentioned are the top students.
Matt Smith could be in there to.

  26. U fellas r fun 2 lissen 2, but I gotta tell U that it sounds like what governs what U say U like has a lil’ more than a healthy dose to do with (if there ever is one) what U C thru the “ok what r all the ppl I know (& all the ppl I want to know) gonna think about this” comb filter. Instead of what , U know, what you actually think & feel.

Matter of fact, it kinda reeks of it. For a bunch of reasons, the #1 being:

U all talk just like Jesse Eisenberg.

IE: Insecure, smart (yup, take that statue home) & despair fueled vacillation oozing out of your fanboy geekoverdrivell..

    …’nuff said.

PS: Sorry, cuz I like U guys a lot but I gotta speak truth to power here.
PSS: Wait, U don’t really have any power. Ah, ^UR%&^% this!
PSS: Taken 2 rocks better than any flick U could ever dream of making.
PS4: Jesse Eisenberg is going to rock the Rosenbaum out of Lex Luthor.

    • What language is that?

      • This has to be some kind of social satire. Like a joke I’m just not getting?

        • Youve been Labeouf’d

  27. I would like to see them do a Gambit film maybe dealing between a Villain and having to put up with the X-men without the X-men or it could be really boring. Gambit needs to have a romantic tie to Rogue and have her really show her powers in these film too already. After fox made the 90′s X-men cartoons that had so much emotions in it, its hard to have Gambit without Rogue and it work well. Maybe show the X-men Cyclops giving him a hard time for decisions he has and is making and Rogue really helps him see this too.

  28. John Cena for Gambit…What’s the difference between him and Tatum? really

  29. at first i was laughing but now i can see him picture him bald i think he can look menacing but please make him bald
