  1. lol Channing Tatum does not need to “slim down”. He’s not built like John Cena. He is actually the perfect body type for an athletic, gymnastic thief. If anything he could do with building some lean muscle.

  2. Quicksilver = Epic Failed; I think Bryan Singer is the dumb superhero director

  3. Taylor Kitsch was f-`n fantastic as Gambit. For me he was perfect in the role.

The 1 & only knock is the cajun accent. BUt it`s a minor gripe cuz he did have an accent of sorts. If I directed him in a follow up I`d see if he could build on that accent. Maybe he varies between accents to blend better (lots of ppl tone their accents down; welsh or aussie…)

  4. I know one group that likes the Eisenberg casting as Lex Luthor…..MARVEL.
WB/DC continues to destroy the only thing they have that could possible threaten MARVEL.

  5. Short and sweet:
Irregardless of acting ability, does Luthor look like Luthor in the comics?
Back to casting, throw it out, search for another one.

  6. Get over Lex Luthor!! There are so many villains to choose from. I think lex has ruined every Superman movie regardless of who plays him he is always to some extent just corny. Lets try Shockwave, Maaldor, Atlas, Gog, or any one of the other thousands of villains. Am I wrong in thinking it could work without Lex Luthor. If they like LL so much, just change the name to Lex and leave Superman out of it!!!!!!!

    • AGREE

    • Totally agree. I’m sick of Lex.

  7. They should use Gorilla Grodd sometime.

  8. More Andrew Dyce!

  9. Box office battle

    1 the Lego movie
    2. The monuments men
    3. Ride along
    4. Vampire Academy
    5 that awkward moment
    10 labor day

  10. What’s with the love-in for Channing Tatum? He’s an awful, awful actor.

  11. #1 The Lego Movie
    #2 The Monuments Men
    #3 Ride Along
    #4 Lone Survivor
    #5 Vampire Academy
    #10 The Nut Job

  12. Great job with the podcast guys! Wanted to weigh in with the excellent Marvel question. In short, I’m not looking for Oscar-worthy efforts from my superhero films, but recognize that they can be more than popcorn presentations. I absolutely disagree with the team’s slamming of Thor 2 – better than the first, even though the surprise ending needs more explanation. That series can only get better, and Cap 2 looks amazing. In the end, I’ll take my Marvel/DC films as they are: capable of more on the character end, but so long as they’re done well I’ll see every one of them. Your GoTG discussion was also great – many of my non-comic book friends have absolutely no interest in seeing it until they see a convincing trailer. Here’s hoping Marvel throws some good ones out there as this seems like a niche production and a big gamble at this time.

  13. Dyce -regarding Downton Abbey- My wife watches and purchases episodes digitally through Amazon. Normally, episodes appear next day, but last week the rest of the season was available to her. We aren’t sure if Amazon screwed up, but she binge watched all those episodes just in case. But I’d thought I’d tell you there is a way to see all the episodes now…which is probably one more episode.

  14. Hey! There is NOTHING wrong with a dude sitting down to piss. It’s very relaxing…and sometimes a surprise turd pops out.

  15. Use the guy from white collar for gambit. he looks like gambit from the comics
