  1. Fox might, for once, have allowed something good take place. They're sure trying hard to win the fans over I have to give them that. Any three or four star predictions??

Kattie Cassidy seems borderline too old to be in the Nightmare movie. I hope she is a college student and not playing a high school kid. I might go see this just to check out J.E.Haley's performance.

  2. Wow that Nightmare on Elm street trailer was awesome!!! I am probably on board to see it now. On the other hand with Predators looks very good also. I just wonder if Lawrence Fishburne will be as trigger happy as he was in Armored :).

  3. With Adrien Brody as the leader I seriously wonder if Lawrence's character isn't some kind of lackey to the aliens? Sort of sparks my interest because he hasn't been showcased much. Hope it's not because he gets skewered early. That would be a let down…

  4. Im still skeptical about both movies. Predators might be better than AVP-R, not that i didnt mind the AVP films, they were ok to me but this film seems to have a better cast, better than AVP-R'S was. Im sure the original will still be my favorite and i thought Predator 2 was good film. It offered different things and stayed connected to the original in a way. I sure hope they kept their word about how the predators look as the original one did, kinda doesnt look that way. Especially if predators using the longer blade guanlets. As as its good. but i hear different rumors. Is the film a complete reboot? Or is somehow connected to Predator, Predator 2, AVP, AVP-R ? As for the Nightmare on elm street reboot, i most likely will go and see it to see what its like. But I think Robert Englund will always have my vote as Freddy. I wasnt impressed with Friday the 13th reboot so i hope this reboot can do better job at it. Can't wait to see Wes Craven's Scream 4

  5. I wonder if Freddy Krueger would beat a Predator in a fight…

  6. Well someone has to fill the horror movie stereotype of the “black” guy going first, jk

  7. That depends, Do predators sleep?

  8. As I understand it, Predators is essentially a reboot with a storyline not connected to any of the previous Predator films.

  9. LOL I wonder if they drew straws for that privilege? ;-)

If he's playing a character that I think he's playing, a survivor from a previous hunt then it has the potential of being a juicy role. From the limited dialog he seems to know the most about the Predators of the bunch. I'm really hoping he has just enough new insights to take the lid off the franchise and let it grow in a good way…

  11. Most of the time that's a no-brainer that the first film that produces a franchise is going to be the best. “Aliens” and perhaps “The Road Warrior” might be considered the exceptions. I'm hoping for some salvation of the franchise though. I'm tired of decent franchises being dumped on to the point where one begins to believe that perhaps the original wasn't any good either…
