More Episode III images

These are majorly spoilerific and at least one of them shows why Lucas is going for a PG-13 for Revenge of the Sith.

Since I received a personally engraved email from Lucasfilm legal telling me to yank the trailer, I think I’ll just send you to where you can download the images instead of posting them here.

You can find them (for now, anyway) in a thread at the Jedi Council Forums website.

But as I said, be warned: There are some big spoilers in these images. I only looked at a couple of them myself since I already know more about the movie than I’d like at this point.

  1. What a terrific site! Great job! I felt the urge to visit your site wondering if you have ever followed the cycle from ink to paper for a novel, the screenplay conversion and the process that follows?

I started my blog around the first of the year after writing a novel. The journey has been intense at times and plain funny at other times, and all is chronicled in the blog.

Keep up the great work on the silver screen releases, Vic. I’ll be back to read more of your site.
    Thanks

First, thanks for the kind words. :-)

As to your question, the mystery of fictional writing escapes me, although I wish I could do it (of course I’ve never even tried). I’ve always been mystified by the how it’s done… Does the writer make things up as he goes along? Does he plan the final outcome and then write towards that?

Makes my head hurt almost as much as trying to figure out time travel paradoxes. :P

As far as novel to screenplay, my understanding is that the best thing for the author to do is to divorce himself emotionally from his material. If he/she writes the screen adaptation, someone will come after and change the heck out of it, and if someone else writes the screen version it will probably be a pale copy of the original.

  3. Hey I and my friend Alice Lamphere think that Hayen christensen (Anakin Skywalker) is really hottttttttt and really sexyyyyy… So my friend is writting him a letter and she really loves him and she wants him to be her husband in the future.. she says he’s hotter than hot and sexier than sexy… itssssss; so true…… so ya and if he doesn’t write back he will break her heart
xoxoxoxoxoxox mahsa and Alice lamphere :o

  4. Vic, Your question is an interesting one; does a writer know the story before writing it? I’ve pondered that question and come up with another question; does a musician know the song’s ending as the music is composed?
I believe in both cases of the composer and writer both can be true, depending on the person. For me, I write as if I am watching a movie and have no middle or ending in mind at the onset. I begin with an idea, create the characters and as odd at it may seem, the characters lead me with their actions and dialogue.
Everyone has a fictional book inside them Vic. My guess is with your expertise and experiences yours would be outstanding. You should give it a try.
Thanks for visiting and posting my blog.
    Take care.

  5. Ron, thanks for the kind words and your thoughts on the art of writing.

Maybe someday I’ll find the time and motivation to come up with a germ of an idea that I can flesh out into a story.

Of course it’s much easier just being a critic.
