I’ll miss MONK. Except for a few swear words. It was a show that you could allow your kids to watch. It was like a modern day Sherlock Holmes.

Randy Newman, the same guy who sings the Monk theme song, sang the song at the end of the finale. It was so sad.

Part One has aired, but I’m practically counting the hours until Part Two. I will be very upset if any of the characters die. I will, however, make a prediction.

Stottlemeyer retires and moves away with TK. Randy takes a job in New York and marries Sharona. Dr. Bell will stay in business but will begin treating Ambrose. Julie goes off to college. Natalie marries her new doctor/seaman/boyfriend, but not before she finds out Mitch isn’t dead! Mitch has been hiding (OK, that last one is far-fetched, but it would create a great plot twist).

As for Adrian, the case will be solved, and he will become a criminal justice professor who writes books on how he sees crimes. He’ll move away and lock all of Trudy’s things away because he’s going to find out Trudy was somehow involved in something criminal, which lead to her death in the first place(OK, more far-fetched stuff, but we’re all guessing here).

OMG!!!!! I just watched it, and i cant WAIT for the series finale!!! I want to hurry up and see it, but i don want it to end, PLUS i wanna se spoilers for it but im scared too!!!! OMG!!!!

Sad to see it go. I can’t say i’m the biggest dedicated fan, but I’ve seen all the episodes that play a role in the overall story and from time to time tune in on the ones that are just episodic. Always enjoyed the show.

Also I would like to add he is the second greatest detective Worlds greatest will always be Batman lol ; )

While I had heard of the show since its debut, I really didn’t become a viewer until 2005. From then on, though, I was hooked. It helped fill the void on Friday nights left by the demise of TGIF earlier in the decade.

Oh, and it looks like we will find out what was in that gift box.

Monk was another one of those “event” shows at my house, kinda like 24.

Everything came to a halt when Monk was on, and it was such a treat to watch.

Friday nights won’t be the same without Mr. Monk.
