We’re just two weeks away from the start of the summer movie season and the release of the film that’s kicking it off: X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

With the movie’s release rapidly approaching, we’re entering the final stages of marketing and so we have a few new images for you including an international poster and a pretty cool milk advertisement.

Check them out and see what you think:

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

Without any text, all of these images would make for great posters. Notice how they keep emphasizing Cyclops' inclusion in the film - strange as he's such a minor character.  They're really trying to show off the popular Marvel characters to tie this into the original X-Trilogy for the non-comic readers or those who only saw/still watch the old or new cartoon series'.

While the actual movie promo shot of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine looks awesome, it just seems so ordinary now. It seems like we’ve seen so many images of Wolverine standing with his blades out over the years that it has become so non-special and uninteresting. This for me, makes the Got Milk ad the best image out of the group.

We can chalk that up to over-exposure of the character in the comics for far too long and now in the movies too. Let’s hope he’s as bad-ass as Jackman proclaims he is in this movie.

What do you think of the images?
