I guess this is...news?

Former boxing superstar Mike Tyson has let it be known he will be entering into a third round of intoxicated debauchery. No, we're not talking about the sports icon's next headline-making scandal - we're talking about Tyson once again running with his pals Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) in the next Hangover movie, which is tentatively titled The Hangover 3 (and could remain that way, if history is any indication).

Tyson himself dropped the news of his Hangover 3 appearance during a radio interview with Dan Patrick today - while simultaneously announcing that he has his own Vegas show in the works, called "Tyson: The Raw Truth". Said one of Tyson's "pals" about the upcoming Vegas show:

"It will be raw. Nothing will be held back. He's not going to shrink from the problems he's faced and the battles he's fought professionally and personally. It will be unfiltered, and he'll tell it like it is. The project has the full blessing of his wife Lakiha and their family."

It's disturbing to think about just how "raw" things might get when Tyson is onstage musing about his life and trials - especially with examples like this already out there:

....Back to The Hangover 3: Early plot details dropped by Galifianakis hinted at the third film diverging from the tried-and-true formula of the first two installments, and could feature a story as wild as having the Wolfpack members break Alan out of a mental institution. Bradley Cooper recently commented on the matter, echoing his co-star's claims that this third film will indeed depart from the formula used in the first two.

How Tyson will fit into this is anybody's guess - and given the mind of Hangover director Todd Phillips, it really could be anything that sets the former athlete on yet another collision course with his hard-partying pals.

MILD SPOILER ALERT:  If it's anything like the second film, Tyson could even be wedged randomly and arbitrarily into a scene for all of thirty seconds. Wouldn't that be fun.

The Hangover 3 should be going into production soon, in time for a 2013 release date.
