does anyone else hate how Variety is trying to be a stupid trend-setter (or whatever you call it) by calling a movie a “pic”?

get it right you dolts. a pic is short for picture.

and unrelated, Variety said Super Mario Galaxy sucked. again, they’re just trying too hard

I have to admit I know nothing about Blackbeard,,,

I liked the first POTC film, but the sequels were awefull.
Ppl say that Speed Racer was overblown CGI but come on, the 2nd and especally the 3rd POTC were full of nauseating CGI… :-p

I don’t know, Teach was an interesting character and if they did a realistic and gritty pirate movie, I’d love to see it.
Personally I hate the Pirates of the Carribean movies and crave something to remove the idea that those are anything like pirate films.
