Will Ferrell is VERY inconsistent. “Elf” is by FAR is best film and I think that is because Favs channelled Ferrell’s insanity to the character. Most of his other movies are just obnoxious, although I did enjoy Old School and Blades of Steel.

This is off topic, but I saw this comic today and I immediately thought that everyone here would get a kick out of it.

I’m sure Wahlberg will be the serious tough-as-nails cop to Ferrell’s Jerry Lewis-style inept sidekick. I like Mark-Mark but I’ve only liked Ferrell in Elf and Stranger Than Fiction.

I’m pretty sure Wahlberg can do comedy, and of course Farrel can, but he’s been very inconsistent lately with his movies. I am looking forward to this, hope it’s got good writers because that’s really what makes a good comedy a good comedy I think.

I guess Wahlberg will be the straight man to Ferrells funny guy…I like Wahlberg but I can’t stand any of Ferrell’s movies except for Anchorman..That was funny!!

No, I didn’t think Harry Potter would run out of steam before the Last Book was made into a Movie, I’ve seen the reaction to the books.

Wahlberg can definitely do comedy. Anyone who’s seen The Happening knows that. He’s hilarious in it, whether or not it was intended.
