I agree with Panda; Famke Janssen would be great as Black Widow. Yeah she was good as Jean Grey in X-Men but her performance as Bond villain Xeinia in GoldenEye is what totally sells me on her; her Russian accent is completely spot on.

Yah, you will hear all types of rumors before that. During the production of the first IM, I think the villain was supposed to be Crimson Dynamo. They kept referring to the armor they were building and designing for the villain as Crimson Dynamo during the production of it, haha.

Concerning Rourke “not playing Crimson Dynamo”, but he is going to be wearing armor, that should automaticaly mean he is going to be Titanium Man (who, save Gremlin, has always been a soldier). That, and Titanium Man was always more/better of an enemy than Crimson Dynamo. Crimson Dynamo started as a scientist, I hope that Marvel remembers that. I think that would play out better.

I have to say that my reaction is about in line with this article. Rourke as Crimson Dynamo–cool. Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow just makes no sense to me. Going with a “big name” for this part just doesn’t make sense.

Hey, I was the one that first recommended Milla for Black Widow, lol. At least that I know of, didn’t see anyone else mentioning her…

I’m kidding though, I know it’s a somewhat obvious choice so I’m sure many of you were thinking it long before I chose to say something about it. But I’m still kind of sad that Emily Blunt wouldn’t be playing her. Not that I love Blunt or anything, but because she seemed like she was really excited about it. The one thing that gets me is when someone’s excitement is shot down, breaks my heart, lol. She sounded so let down and sad when it turned out she can’t do it… Oh well.

I’m sure it will turn out well, the news of Rourke is good, and it’s nice to see IM2 is finally off and running. Can’t wait to see the suit of armor flying again.

also, crimson dynamo works they could work it in to the AVENGERS movie.
