I still regret the fact that we are not going to get Kevin Smiths Green Hornet.
The only reason the ball got rolling on this project was because of Smiths original involvement .
Since he walked away it just feels like The Keystone cops are putting it together.
that having been said ,
I wish Gondry Luck.
He is going to need it.

SK47 says:

Gondry has a great visual style, even in Be Kind, Rewind the tones he used were great were great! I am sure he can make a pleasant Hornet film, however, I am still skeptical that this will come out.

James Brown says:

The Lone Ranger and The Green Hornet BOTH must be spinning in their graves at the thought of this movie being a comedy; ala 1960’s BATMAN. I hope this atrocity dies on the vine. If these idiots want a comedy, then let them create their own characters. Just don’t butcher a legendary hero to get a few laughs and a few bucks!!!

Aaron says:

Aaron says:

And it’s MICHEL, not MICHAEL.

I love Gondry. His part of Tokyo! is surreal, but humane(and funny as hell). Its like Kafka on film(but, again, funnier).

The Tokyo! DVD drops June 30th (i think). You can pre-order and catch the trailer on the website http://tokyothemovie.com/
