I think at least a few if not many characters would actually want to stay on the island(unless they do a time travel finale and change the continuum)!

As long as they don’t have all the characters rejecting technology, going off to live out the remainder of their lives alone in a vast edenic paradise, or simply disappearing into thin air without ever once explaining how they came back from the dead, and as long as we never, not once, see JJ Abrams or Damon Lindelof reading a National Geographic, I think I’ll be happy.

I’m looking forward to all the answers the writers want to throw at us in the upcoming sixth season, but I will be sad to see it go. Lost is a rich universe with characters that make you feel pain when they hurt and smile when they succeed.

And lord the mysteries, from polar bears and cryptic four toed statues to a monster made of smoke, the writers have not failed the audience. While the end may not satisfy everyone’s expectations, I feel the writers and actors will give us all they have for this final tour of the island and beyond.

I totally agree…it will be a bittersweet end. I am HUGE fan of Lost. I can’t wait to see how they wrap everything up, but when they do, it will be a sad day, because now you have all the answers but one of the greatest shows will be over. Let’s just hope its not the last tv team up of Abrams, Lindelof and Cuse.
