    @Heath

I could see a remade Robocop, maybe it won't be as classic as 1 and 2, but it's definitely do able since Ironman did so well.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes another Rocky would fail miserably, at least Rocky Balboa was decent enough to finish the series on.

That's almost as bad as another Rambo flick....The Trailer below.......

The shot opens up as John Rambo low crawls accross the hallway of the VA retirement center because they are withholding Col. Trautman's special apple sauce recipe, and after he gets to the fridge and gets the applesauce he turns slowly to the camera with apple sauce dripping from chin and Says ...You wanna War, I gonna give you a war like u not gonna believe.....

Johnson, this could be bad for OCP...

Vic, ya need to add that one to the movie quotes. Lol ;-)
  • Yeah ok. A new RoboCop, as like the first one, I maybe would like to see.

Rocky, no go, leave the boxer alone!

New Bond films? Like Casino Royale? Oh boy, just keep them coming. I'm already looking forward to the next installment in november (what was that name again?)

I really don't think Fame, or any other dance-movie of that time neets a reboot. They belong in that period, and there, they are really fun to watch from time to time.

And than about the Hobbit. I really am a big fan of LotR, that trilogy was just one of the best films in the past decade! Really looking forward to the Hobbit too. But as said, please don't milk the cow! There is a time to leave the things as they are, and I think after the Hobbit that time has come.

    greets,
    Steven

I don't know if they can come up with a new concept (based on what I'm reading) but a new take on Robocop might be acceptable.

No reboots, I'm talking OCP has been bought out by (who knows) and there restarting the RoboCop line. They could even have this new Robo go after the (you write it) that killed the OCP Robocop?

Reboots are cheap for the sudios and suck for creative writers that have original ideas.
Hey Studios, (FU with a vhs tape) I'll go watch a dvd. Sheesh I've got enough of them to run a tv station.
  • Just say no to a RoboCop remake. PLEASE!

Yeah, but Rob, at least HArry Potter movies are made from original source material from the creator of Harry. Having some Hollywood studio hack destroying Tolkien's work is sacriligious.
  • Rob
Rocky can stay. Stalone will be busy with another set of Rambo films anyway, lol.

Bond ofcourse, that's a franchise that will never stop making movies and never needs to.

As for lord of the rings, as long as you don't re-cast anyone, have Mckellan as Gandalf and hopefully some Viggo-Aragorn action, that's fine. I wouldn't complain about that compared the the 8 crappy Harry Potter films (now that's milking that cow and the rest in the fields)
  • I agree about Rocky. Go out on a dignified note - what the hell is wrong with these people?

    Vic

PLEASE leave Rocky alone!! I thought "Rocky Balboa" was a great way to finish the series (and pretty much get rid of the awful Rocky V). A Robocop reboot could be cool. I have to agree with JC on the whole Hobbit idea. I get queasy also when they talk of original stories in that world....

As for Bond, keep 'em coming!!
  • Gary
    no,no,NO!
    Rocky ended well.
    DONT SPOIL IT!
  • The quote about filling the gap between the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings makes me queasy.

If they want to take on more Tolkein, take some of the smaller stories already written in the Silmirillion, and flesh them out. A competent scribe could adapt several epic screenplays out of that.

It doesn't sound any different than all the remakes other studios are doing. Not a fan of this but if it makes them money who can blame them. If i disapprove, I don't have to see them.
