  2. The start of the podcast was hilarious.

One of you guys mentioned Saturday Night Live? (think it was Ben?). Comedy Central has just started to air the show here in SA and I was very surprised at how funny it was. Usually I don’t “laugh out loud” watching American tv shows (I’m more a fan of British tv series’ and stand-up), but this really was pretty funny (loved the bit with Liam Neeson a few weeks ago – and Kristen Wigg is just hilarious in every sketch IMO).

I actually agree with Kofi about the Big Bang Theory to a degree. It used to be very funny for me, but season 5 was a real disappointment (except for one or two episodes here and there) – the characters were irritating, most of the jokes were stale, the actual stories were boring and the character development is almost non-existent. I’m just hoping season 6 will be better.

    • I can totally imagine The Big Bang Theory getting stale after awhile. I’m interested to see how far into it I get before I get tired and move on to something else.

  3. Breaking Bad is a better show than The Big Bang Theory. I watch both. I enjoy both.

    • Seconded.

  4. Another awesome episode. You guys are great. I was just revisting old episodes and you guys have gotten so relaxed since episode 1 (except for Anthony. He’s stayed basically the same and gets funnier every week.)

    • Hard to believe it’s been 40 episodes already right? I was just talking to a friend of mine about that. She was there when we recorded the Green Lantern episode – and can’t believe how much smoother everything is now.

Of course, there’s plenty of room for improvement (especially that Anthony guy).

      • What is this Green Lantern episode you speak of? lol

        • Ha! One day… one day.

  5. Also I almost forgot I like whenever KOFI OUTLAWWWWWW just keeps repeating something. RICK JONES!!!! or The Gimp sleeping LOLOLOL

  8. Awesome show like always guys. Kofi, Ridiculousness is pretty good, but ever since Anthony mentioned Impractical Jokers I have been on that show. It is a much more enjoyable 30 minutes of tv. I am glad it is coming back for another season.

    • Cheers OT!

  10. Hy guys, really enjoyed your podcast this week again. I really liked MIB 1 and 2 (a little less), but I think that I will wait for MIB 3 until it’s on DVD or so. At the moment I’m a bit more excitet about Snow White and the Huntsman. Let’s see how this one is.

Don’t know if I still can compete but here are my votes for the box office battle.

    1. Snow White
    2. MIB 3
    3. The Avengers
    4. Piranha 3DD
    5. Battle Ship

    10. The Hunger Games

Excitet about your next podcast. It really helps to take notice of a lot interesting movie or tv products, that fly around in the world! Thanks to Rob I got the first season of the Vampire Diaries, so that I have something to watch while I wait for my other favourite shows to start again. I didn’t start but will soon. I’m curious!

    • Thanks Samuel! Glad you’re enjoying the cast. We definitely ask that box office battle picks are sent-in by Thursday night – so that no one can look at Friday results before selecting their picks.

      Cheers!

  11. The dust has settled from E3 and, as promised on the most recent episode, I’ve tabulated box office battle reader results.

It was a three-way tie between zero, Adel, and Chris A – who all scored 15 points and selected a tie-breaker that was within 1 spot of the number 10 pick (For Greater Glory).

    Congrats to the winners!

  12. Just a warning about watching Supernatural on Netflix: they’ve replaced all the licensed music (mostly Classic Rock) with some generic music library stuff, which really hurts the atmosphere and reduces the impact of many scenes. If you want to see and hear the show as it was meant to be seen you have to watch it on DVD/Blu-ray.

It’s really sad that they go down that path and deface their products to save some bucks.
