Today we have new images from two high-profile blockbuster sequels coming in 2012: the third chapter in the Men in Black movie franchise (aptly titled Men in Black III), as well as the second chapter (which is also something of a fresh start) for the G.I. Joe movie franchise, G.I. Joe Retaliation.
Check out the full gallery for some looks at the alien creatures created for MIB3 by multi-Oscar-winning makeup artist Rick Baker (Star Wars, Planet of the Apes) – as well as the characters (besides headliners Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis) that will appear in G.I. Joe 2.
Men in Black III
Check out the aliens in Men in Black III that were featured in Entertainment Weekly. The threequel sees Agent J (Will Smith) traveling back time to save Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) from being assassinated by a nefarious biker alien played by Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement (pictured sporting the googles-for-eyes look):
Men in Black III will be in theaters on May 25, 2012.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation
Equal parts sequel and ‘fresh approach’ reboot, G.I. Joe: Retaliation sees the world’s premiere peacekeeping force targeted by assassination by Cobra. Spy master Zartan (Arnold Vosloo) – who is still disguised as the U.S. President after the events of the first film – uses his new face and position of power to mark the Joe team down as threats to national security, thereby making them targets of the very nation they’re sworn to protect.
Most of the Joes get wiped out (including, we’re hoping, Channing Tatum’s character Duke), but Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson) manages to piece together the remaining team members – including Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki), Flint (D.J. Cotrona), Snake Eyes (Ray Park), his protege Jinx (Elodie Young) and “the original” Joe Colton (Willis) – to get revenge.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation will be in theaters on June 29, 2012.

Saw GI Joe 2 at a screening a few weeks ago. Wanted to gauge my eyes out. Just one mans opinion.
How can Snake Eyes breathe?
why are there so many Duke haters, after all the man
did form the G.I Joe he should stay in the movie or
other ones that come after this one without Duke
there wouldnt be no G.I Joe,read your comic books .
Thats like the starship Enterprise without Captain
Kirk .Or Lost in Space without Dr.Smith it wouldnt
work, you could try but you need those characters
Uh, they did have a series with a starship Enterprise without Kirk, and it was the most successful of the Trek series.
Better comparison would be Star Trek Next Generation without Picard
Actually, Duke doesn’t appear in the comics until after the cartoon. It was Hawk who formed GI Joe thanks Joe Colton.
Snake eyes looks bad ass and MIB 3 keeps scarring me away. It looks way to spy kids cartoony for it’s own good.
we need the second full trailer for gi joe!!!
I like the idea of rebuilding GI Joe, specially with Bruce Willis as Joe and Dwayne Johnson. I agree that Duke should be in it though! From what we have seen so far, it will be a fun movie to watch, after all: ninja battle on a clif people… Commooooon!!
Stark Industries…
why is everyone saying Duke isnt in the film? Channing Tatum is Captain Duke Hauser in the second film just as he was in the first
Maybe they kill him off… I think it’s a strong possibility… But ya he’s in it…
