Liam says:

Hate to say it… but I think her looks definitely could warrant the role… though I don’t care much so far for her ability to act. If it weren’t for Michelle Rodriguez’s skin tone and pouty lips, I’d really be nominating her for the role… don’t know how I feel about Uma either but definitely not as against her as I am with Fox… guess let’s just wait and see what happens… do we know of any other actor/actress that’s played more than one comic book heroe/heroein?

Liam says:

heroine?

John "Kahless" Taylor says:

HECK NO!!! The She-Hulk needs to be played by an actress with muscle, similar to the actress in What’s Love Got to do with it (she’s too old now). And I agree, Fox is too short. Since She-Hulk can’t change back, I hope they don’t go all CGI.

SK47 says:

Not even Uma Thurman, Kofi, what’s wrong with you mang?

The best candidate for the She-Hulk: Katee Sachoff.
Savage: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3418200320/nm0755267
Sexy: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1459132160/nm0755267
Gritty: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm175737344/nm0755267
and already she has the right size in all the right parts ;D
NO to this toothpick Meagon Fox.

J BIZ says:

Look man………any excuse to see Megan Fox is a good excuse. I don’t care if she plays the bad guy in the new Rambo flick, as long as she is on screen, I’m happy!

Matt K says:

if they are planning a she hulk spinoff then get someone who cant act, i mean shes hot and that pic of her just shows what i mean, but i dont think she can handle a leading role in a film shes just good for sex appeal

Matt K says:

“….then get someone who cant act”

i mean they should get someone who can act, lol human error

Richard says:

Does it really matter? Once shes “transforned” shes gonan be all CGI anyway like Hulk right?

maverick says:

To be frank, she doesn’t have to actually play the she-hulk. If you think about it, she doesn’t have to fit the part of She-Hulk AT ALL. Because She-Hulk is the transformation, just like Hulk is of Bruce Banner. At that point CGI takes over, and you have the perfect casting for the She-Hulk.

The only part Megan Fox has to be perfect for is Jennifer Walters, and that doesn’t require strength, height, or anything else that can be associated with the She-Hulk that people seem to be getting mixed up with.

This isn’t Thor we’re talking about, remember that.

Gary says:

I hope SOMEBODY plays the She Hulk .
I want the character to make it to the screen .
As for Megan Fox and Fathom,
I hear she is a big fan of The comic and the late Michael Turner.
So I am going to cut her a little slack as far as Fathom goes.

Stephen says:

I would comment on the article, but I’ll go ahead and admit that I just stared at the picture of Megan the whole time.

JMoney says:

Did you actually forget Uma played Poison Ivy or were you purposely dancing around it?

And no , Megan Fox shouldn’t play She-Hulk, in fact no one should play She-Hulk because it’s a stupid concept to begin with.

Darren seeley says:

I don’t think there is a spin off for She-Hulk. However, given the setup for Incredible Hulk, I can see how the character can come into live action territory….as part of Incredible Hulk II anyway.

Fox is stunning. No getting around that. She’s also, as noted, got films lined up, some of which are based on comic books. Nothing wrong with that, but I think that’s enough workload.

@SK47:
I second Kathryn “Katee” Sackhoff.

@Stephen

Mission Accomplished.

:-P

Oh, BTW – in the comics She-Hulk’s transformation is not nearly as different as Bruce Banner’s. She gets larger and more muscular but is still very identifiable as the same woman (at least as far as I can recall).

Vic

SK-47 says:

@Darren seeley, YES!
You can see how she is a perfect fit right!

SIN187UM says:

I agree she has the fem look for the role, but she would definitely need to get ripped, which not many women can pull that off. I think if u watch a series called Nemesis starting with Nemesis 2 that is what her body would need to look like, not really buffed, but cut.

Chuque says:

I admit I haven’t read the series in many years, but I don’t recall her ever transforming back, she was always perma-hulked.

John "Kahless" Taylor says:

I just checked the Marvel site and found out that She-Hulk did have the ability to change back to her normal form, so this could work with Fox as the normal form and someone else as She-Hulk. It was only after being exposed to radiation that she lost her ability to transform back into her normal form.

790 says:

She Hulk? I’m not watching that. :-(

ogb says:

Why so much hate for Fox?

Granted I have been wooed by her hottness, I can honestly say she has a lot of potential.

And as far as criticism to her height/weight/muscles…obviously you guys have something against her as all these characteristics can be added (special effects, camera tricks, her doing a workout camp before the movie, etc.)

BUUUUT, I honestly think that they need an unknown, up and coming a actress for this role.

As SK47 mentioned, someone like Katee Sachoff would be much better.

As for UMA? NO! lol Again my opinion, but, just NO!

Ken J says:

Oh God why can’t the ones that actually can act get famous and all the roles? Is one of the requirements of being the hot female lead of the time to have absolutely 0 acting ability? Come on…

ppnkof says:

Uma Thurman can “do green.” Can Katee Sackhoff “do green?”

J/K, the Uma thing was more of a joke.

Mike Basil says:

Ever since the failed pilot for a She-Hulk TV spinoff, I’d thought a new TV or film version was long overdue. I read She-Hulk comics in the past. It will be intriguing to see if and how a female version of the Hulk can work with fans.

I’d also agree with Uma Thurman.

Ray O says:

Just the thought of this makes me think CATWOMAN.

790 says:

Ray O, I was thinking the exact same thing… :-)

JessSayin' says:

I can’t believe NONE of you guys noticed or mentioned the two reasons that TOTALLY disqualify Megan Fox from playing the She Hulk.

Give you a hint…the reasons are below her chin and above her belly button.

No. Possible. way.

(A padded bra didn’t work (convincingly) for Angelina to play Lara Croft and it sure as heck won’t work for Megan whose half her size!)

arrell says:

I don’t think there’s a market for a She-Hulk film.

Ken J says:

@Jess

I can care less about her body, NOBODY playing a comic book character looks exactly like their comic book counterpart, the thing that disqualifies her is the fact that she can’t act to save her life. And how green make-up over her half an inch thick layer of make-up would work I have no idea…
