On one hand, she’s being completely honest and fearless in what she says. She speaks her mind and her beliefs and doesn’t back down. On the other hand, this may be unprofessional to a certain extent when it comes to being negative towards those who got her to where she is today.
Of course, nothing against Bay goes without response and here is what the explosive director said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. Wall Street asked: “It’s interesting that you want to focus on acting. Megan Fox, one of the leads in “Transformers” has criticized your films for being special-effects-driven and not offering so many acting opportunities. Do you agree?” Bay’s Response:
“Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, “Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.” But I 100% disagree with her. Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in “Armageddon.” Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did “Transformers”—and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from “Bad Boys.” Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in “Transformers.” I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.”
At this point, I don’t think it matters. This movie will make an insane amount of money with our without Megan Fox. This franchise started her career and she doesn’t seem that thankful of it all.
Fox didn’t play that major of a role in Revenge of the Fallen in terms of what went on with the plot and according to a survey leading up to the film, moviegoers are going to see this movie regardless. The millions of tween, teens, young adults and every other moviegoer who is subject to the mass marketing behind this franchise isn’t going to all-of-a-sudden avoid the next movie if she’s not in it.
That being said, she’ll no doubt be in the next one. She may be quoted as being “controversial” but money talks and in 2-3 years time, she’ll want to be involved again in the biggest movie of that year, especially after this movie’s box office earnings are counted up.
Does Megan Fox’s involvement with the next Transformers affect your decision to see it or can she be replaced?
Transformers 3 will likely debut for the summer of 2012.

the second transformer movie was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! but the horrible acting wasn’t even what killed it. fox definitely was the worst actor of them all, but that could also be just bad directing. however, bay still should just put a better looking girl in her place, since she’s so ungrateful. doesn’t she realize she is a dime a dozen?
megan fox is hotest and shes ass is cool
I hope Megan Fox is NOT in the next transformers movie. People are sick of her anyway.
The movie, as was the cartoon, has been and always will be about the transformers, not the human actors. Yes, the movie did need some human intervention, but, the movie would have probably done just as well casting any other actor(s).
Fox served no purpose in the transformers movie, except to cater to sex drives. Get rid of her.
i think that megan fox plays a important job and that she should keep her job also its not fair to judge her over a few movies i still think she is an excellent actress
Fox should be grateful for the physical training Mr.Bay put her through, after all she is making big bucks because of that body. She is a nobody without the career boost he gave her. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you!
