Ever since Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness hit the cinema, fans haven't been able to stop talking about the one and only Scarlet Witch. Wanda Maximoff has come so far from the young, inexperienced mutant she was in Avengers: Age of Ultron, gaining power and skill faster than any other character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Many fans call her the strongest Avenger, and she has plenty of badass moments to back it up. After having fought against so many characters, friends and foes alike, Wanda has ultimately proven herself to be one of the strongest fighters in the MCU.

Avengers Disassembled: Wanda Mind Manipulates The Avengers

Avengers: Age of Ultron is Wanda's debut and places her as a powerful character right from the get-go. It says a lot that her powers have only grown from when she took down the Avengers in the Churchill, a sequence that happens after she uses her powers on Tony Stark at the HYDRA secret base which is what leads him to create Ultron.

After being teased in the post-credit scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, this is the first time that Wanda uses her mind control powers against the Avengers. Wanda manages to bring down every member of the team - save Clint Barton - with the flick of her wrist, and there's nothing they can do to stop her until it's too late.

Avengers Facility: Vision Won't Let Wanda Leave

In the wake of the unintentional destruction at Lagos, Wanda is left feeling devastated. Not only does she feel extremely guilty, but the way the media responds makes everything worse. This results in Vision being told not to let her leave the Avengers facility.

When Hawkeye comes to get her out and is faced by Vision, Wanda is the one who fights him. After being established as the most versatile and possibly the strongest character in Age of Ultron, Wanda's ability to take Vision out is a feat of its own. Watching her overpower Vision and blast him through multiple floors establishes Wanda as a character with exciting future possibilities.

Romantic Getaway: Wanda (& Vision) vs. The Black Order

Wanda fight Proxima and Corvus in Infinity War

Following the infighting and divide that took place in Captain America: Civil War, where Wanda sided with Team Cap, Vision and Wanda are shown at a romantic getaway and are, therefore, unaware of the impending doom that is Thanos.

After being caught off guard by members of the Black Order, Wanda is left fighting on her own because of an injured Vision. She fights Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive while, at the same time, trying to keep Vision safe. The fact that she is able to hold her own against two members of the Black Order till help arrives is commendable.

Airport Standoff: Wanda Holds Off Team Iron Man

Captain America: Civil War is a movie that shows the Avengers divided over the Sokovia Accords. Further, it shows how much Bucky's friendship means to Steve Rogers. However, without Wanda on their team, Team Cap would never have been able to leave the airport.

Not only does Wanda collectively fight against multiple characters, but she also helps other members of her team at the same time. She is also the only equal force to stand against Vision - though he would never harm her. She's also the reason why Captain and Bucky are able to get to the plane as she holds up a falling building.

The Battle of Sokovia: "If you step out that door, you're an Avenger."

While Age of Ultron marks her character debut, it also marks Wanda becoming an Avenger. After an inspiring speech from Hawkeye she chooses to step out and fight the same person - or android - that she'd been supporting till now, i.e., Ultron. As soon as she joins the fight, she tilts the scales in favor of the Avengers.

She is left to guard the core all on her own, signifying exactly how strong she is. After she feels Pietro die, she sends out an energy blast as she falls to her knees, a blast that takes out every Ultron bot around her. The entire sequence during the fight at Sokovia gave fans a glimpse of her true power.

The Battle of Wakanda: Fighting An Army, Killing Vision, & Holding Thanos Back

Wanda arriving to the battle of Wankanda in Avengers: Infinity War

The Battle of Wakanda is one of the biggest fight scenes in the history of the MCU, with almost every hero present in one place. It's also the battle where the heroes lose. The worst of this is felt by Wanda who not only fights off the army as Shuri tries to remove the Infinity Stone from Vision, but fights Proxima Midnight once again.

In an attempt to save everyone from Thanos, she's then forced to kill Vision so that the Infinity Stone is destroyed. Not only does she do this all on her own, but she also has to hold an Infinity Stones-powered Thanos back as she does. All of this, only for Thanos to turn back time and kill Vision all over again.

WandaVision has been lauded as a fantastic Marvel show with amazing performances by the entire cast. This is also the series where Wanda Maximoff officially becomes the Scarlet Witch. After leading the audience on a wild-goose chase, leaving them confused, Agatha Harkness is finally revealed as a witch interested in stealing Wanda's powers.

Unfortunately for Agatha, instead of weakening her, she makes Wanda realize her strength, which helps her come into her powers. In a reveal that showed this, Wanda turns Agatha's spell against her and finally emerges as the Scarlet Witch.

The Endgame: "You Took Everything From Me..."

Wanda looks angry and uses her powers against Thanos in Avengers: Endgame

After a brutal ending in Avengers: Infinity War, where one of the worst things that could happen to Wanda did happen when she had to watch Vision die. As she steps forward to take on Thanos, her only intention is to exact revenge for everything he has done to her.

This scene remains one of the best in the MCU because she does what Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor collectively were unable to do - she scares Thanos. Till this point, no one had been able to get the Mad Titan to budge. This is also the first time that fans get to see Wanda in a light where she isn't holding too much back, where she's showing her potential as the Scarlet Witch.

Kamar-Taj: Besieged By The Scarlet Witch

When Wanda showed up at Kamar-Taj, no one expected what actually ended up happening, i.e., no one expected her to kill people without remorse to achieve her goal. This is one of the first times that fans got to see her use her powers without thinking about the consequences.

Not only does the Scarlet Witch easily defeat the army waiting for her at Kamar-Taj, but she also managed to escape the Mirror Dimension with sheer power. From the second she shows up shrouded in a red mist to the moment where she's using the Darkhold to dream walk into her Earth-838 self, Wanda becomes the temporary - only because she leaves of her own volition - conqueror of Kamar-Taj.

While fans were obviously excited to see veterans like Professor X and Peggy Carter - albeit a different variant than the one they are used to - return and new characters like Mister Fantastic make their debut, nothing tops how easily Wanda decimated all the members of The IlluminatiDoctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness might have had a lot of shocking moments, but none left the same effect as this one did.

After seeing Wanda showcase her powers by taking on an army of sorcerers at Kamar-Taj, seeing this display of power had the audience enthralled. This is a fight that shows the Scarlet Witch at her most powerful where she's grown tired of pulling her punches, resulting in not just her best fight scene to date, but one of the best scenes ever seen in the MCU.
