If you haven’t had a chance to watch any of the hilarious videos made by “ItsJustSomeRandomGuy,” then I highly suggest you head to his YouTube channel HERE and subscribe. Sometimes movie fans and comic fans can take their passions just a little too seriously and IJSRG has a way of parodying things in the comic book movie universe and making you laugh.
He’s been at this for quite some time now and we’ve showcased his work before on SR, but this particular video has significant meaning because it is his 100th episode. If you aren’t familiar with his work, then let me briefly explain it for you.
IJSRG uses toy action figures from comic book movies and poses them in various positions using stop animation techniques, then lays over dialog and music to achieve a final polished product.
This latest episode is all about Tony Stark/Iron Man singing about what makes Marvel films so much better than DC films. Watch and enjoy below:

With what appears to be very little effort, IJSRG manages to talk about everything that is wrong with or is not really addressed by most fans and/or movie bloggers. Rhodey being replaced, Iron Man 2’s multiple insane product endorsements, Jonah Hex’s possible box office failings – and he even managed to throw in Howard the Duck and Steel. Nothing feels safe from this guy’s sarcastic eye and God Bless Him for it.
I hope he continues to make these videos for a very long time and with the current schedule of upcoming films – Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Green Lantern, Deadpool and many more – I’m sure he will not have a problem coming up with new material. I do have to wonder how much he has spent on all of those figures though, because he sure has a boat load of them.

first i would like to say i am against christina bale’s batman meeting superman or any other superhero, they have to make it a different batman than the Dark Knight universe.
secondly i want Edward Norton to play Hulk and i’m warming up the idea of Donald Glover playing Spiderman, but spiderman isnt really an avangers essential.

Not sure what’s so terrible about Bale’s Batman. Just take a look at the previous Batman screen actors and then think about it again:
Adam West – Beyond cheesy and has become a poor man’s William Shatner
Michael Keaton – Actually not that bad once everyone saw him in the movie, but was a ridiculed choice in the beginning
Val Kilmer – Honestly, took me almost 20 minutes to remember he played Batman because it was that bad (even a Jim Carrey in his prime couldn’t save that movie)
George Clooney – Probably his only bad acting choice and can’t really blame him as much as Shuester(?)
So aside from Bale’s silly gravel voice, he’s not that bad. Now if you want a different actor to go younger and extend the viability of a DC film universe, I can understand that, but Bale isn’t as bad as everyone wants to make him out to be.
I don’t think he was saying Bale was a bad choice and that’s why he doesn’t want to see the two characters meet on screen. I think it has more to do with the universe for each toon they created. Superman, for the most part, is light and airy while Batman resides in this dark and gritty world where Superman could never exist. Superman would have to be rebooted for him to work in Nolan’s world of Batman.
Ok, if I missed that point thanks for clearing that up, makes sense reading it that way.
As for them not being able to exist in the same universe, isn’t that the route they’re trying to go with the new Man of Steel reboot Nolan and his brother are working on, giving it a bit of a grittier feel?
