To celebrate the launch of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, a new trailer offers more insight into the action and story of the highly-anticipated game. Just as DC followed up their hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us with a sequel this year, another fan-favorite fighting game is all set for a new iteration. After years of waiting, characters from Marvel and Capcom will once again join forces and duke it for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Thanks to the slew of trailers over the past few months, we know the story will involve the various heroes working together to stop Ultron Sigma from taking over the world. To do so, they'll harness the power of the Infinity Stones for powerful combos and finishing moves. Along the way, the heroes will see friends turned evil and foes join their side, with one trailer showing the characters working with Thanos to stop an evil Zero. Now, we have an even better look at the game and its host of characters thanks to the new launch trailer.

Marvel and Capcom have unvield the latest trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, which shows the heroes and villains of both universes going to war with the hybrid Ultron Sigma. Along with favorites like Mega Man and Iron Man, we see more of Spider-Man, Firebrand, Ghost Rider, and Frank Rich in action. There's also some more villains that will stand in the way of the heroes, including Jedah and Dormammu.

With 30 characters to choose from, a number of exciting additions will be added to the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise. Thanks to all of the trailers, we've seen many of them in action, from Ghost Rider fighting Jedha to Spider-Man meeting Frank Rich. All told, the game looks like a playable version of fan-fiction, pairing together the best elements of both franchises.

More characters will also be arriving with future updates. For those who buy the deluxe version of the game, Black Panther, Sigma, Monster Hunter, Venom, Winter Soldier, and Black Widow will all be playable at a date in the near future. There's even the chance that more DLC will appear in the future, providing more characters and costumes for dedicated players of the game. So far, MvC:I has been getting stellar reviews, so fans of the franchise won't want to miss the latest entry in the series.
