Black Panther and Sigma arrive for battle in a new gameplay trailer for Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. After years of waiting, fans were finally treated to the debut of the new Marvel vs Capcom game last month. With it, some of the biggest heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were put center stage alongside Capcom's greatest warriors and deepest cuts. So far, the game has been praised for its wild, fan-fiction-like story. But for player hoping to get their hands on even more characters, they're in luck.

Last month, word broke that the first set of DLC characters would debut this year for the game. Included for those who purchased the pass will be Venom, The Winter Soldier, and Black Widow from the Marvel side of things. A separate trailer for the game has since teased the arrival Monster Hunter in the near future. Now, the latest Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite trailer has brought both a new hero and villain into the fold.

Marvel has now released Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite gameplay footage that shows off Black Panther and Sigma. In the video above, we get to see their updated looks and watch as they cycle through their various moves. Likely, similar trailers showing the remainder of the DLC characters will be arriving soon.

Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite

Black Panther makes sense as an addition to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Not only has he been getting increased focus in the Marvel comics, but he will also factor heavily into the new season of Avengers Assemble the TV series. And of course, he's all set for his massive solo movie early next year. As such, he's a big draw in terms of enticing players into buying the DLC here.

Sigma, meanwhile, is making something of a second appearance in the game. From early on, we learned that the story of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite would see Ultron and Sigma merge together to mind-control certain characters into carrying out their evil plans. However, with the Marvel villain now dominating the design of Ultron Sigma, it makes sense that the Mega Man antagonist would get his own solo character for the game.

With the DLC coming in just two weeks, it should be much longer until we also get a glimpse of Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom as they will appear in the game. And with plenty of Marvel and Capcom characters still left to choose from, don't expect this to be the last DLC for the game, either.
