Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) won't be the only Daredevil alum to appear in The Punisher, with Rob Morgan confirmed to reprise his role as Turk Barrett. Starting back in season one of Daredevil, Turk has continued to be a small piece of connective tissue between the multiple Marvel shows on Netflix. He's about as low on the chain of power as anyone in Hell's Kitchen, as he continues to play for whatever side best works for Turk.

While he may not be a super important character or one that casual viewers will always remember seeing before, he is a great way of reminding those that do recognize him that all these shows take place in the same world. Now, it has been revealed he will do so again for The Punisher.

SFX Magazine (via Tumblr) did a spread on The Punisher, featuring interviews with the cast and showrunner Steve Lightfoot, as well as some screenshots from the series. While most of these images had either already been released or were simply character portraits, one screenshot in particular caught the eyes of fans. As seen below, the photo shows Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) holding Turk at gunpoint in the middle of what appears to be Turk's latest attempt at a robbery - one that unfortunately puts him at odds with The Punisher.

Turk popping up in Punisher will further ensure his ongoing role as a connective link between the different Marvel/Netflix series. He previously appeared in both seasons of Daredevil, joined Luke Cage briefly and was even part of The Defenders earlier this year. He's yet to appear on Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, but with the former having just wrapped production on season 2 and the latter not yet filming, there should be more opportunities for Turk to appear in the future. That is, as long as this run in with Punisher doesn't end badly.

Fans of Turk's shouldn't expect him to have a major role in the series, but the continued use of Turk is a handy way of further helping these shows to feel connected. Since crossover events like The Defenders don't happen too often, recurring small roles like Turk's become all the more important for the sake of continuity. Unfortunately for Turk, that usually means he's always getting into trouble with the toughest Marvel vigilantes and "enhanced" individuals who walk the streets of New York.
