All 13 episode titles for The Punisher season 1 have now been revealed. The Punisher is the first spin-off of the original four Marvel/Netflix TV series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cageand Iron Fist). Each show has its own themes, with Jessica Jones focusing on a "noir" look and Luke Cage titling all of its episodes after Gang-Starr songsThe Punisher is sticking to that tradition, with 13 titles that promise war is coming to Hell's Kitchen at the hands of Frank Castle.

Daredevil season 2 introduced Frank Castle in the episode titled Dogs to a Gunfight. The series saw Castle deliver plenty of vengeance to Hell's Kitchen before blowing up his own house and embarking on a quest to punish other criminals in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These episode titles for The Punisher spinoff series continued Castle's theme of fighting bad guys - and while they don't shed much light on the show's plot beyond that, there's been plenty of speculation about the series already, to keep fans preoccupied (from Karen Page's role to the villain Castle will be going up against).

The official Twitter account for The Punisher has now revealed the episode titles for season 1 via Morse code messages, leaving the Internet to scramble and decipher them. Those thirteen episode titles include: 3 AMTwo Dead Men, Kandahar, Resupply, Gunner, The Judas Goat, Crosshairs, Cold Steel, Front Toward Enemy, Virtue of the Viscous, Danger Close, Home and Momento Mori. It's shaping up to be a pretty intense sounding season with titles like that.

The Punisher stars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ben Barnes as Jisaw and Ebon Moss Bachrach as Microchip. They're joined by Amber Rose Revah, Daniel Webber, Jamie Ray Newman, Jason R Moore, Paul Schulze and Micheal Nathanson.

Castle's introduction spurred a quick fan following, with Bernthal promising to "do right" by the Frank Castle character. Having been featured previously in 2 different movies, Castle's got a storied history on the big screen. The use of comic book panels and the recreation of the vigilante's relationship with Daredevil, however, have assured fans that this is the Punisher they've been waiting to see on screen. Can that be sustained through a full season of episodes?
