Joe Quesada was one of my favorite artisits back in the day. His X-Factor stuff was awesome, as was his Ash and Ninjak comics.

Unfortunatley when he took over as Editor-in-chief at Marvel, their quality of story and artwork went down and it totally lost me to reading any new books. The gritty new look of the X-Men started it after the 1st movie came out. They figured "Well, the movie did so great, lets make the comic look just like it" and that was mostly Quesada's idea and then they started to do it to the rest of their titles. That along with all the Ultimate titles he had people create just completely took me out of the comic book loop for the past 9 years or so, and from what I hear, I havent missed much other than Civil War being decent and the House of M crap.

OK, I am done ripping on Joe Q (I wish he still was with Jimmy Palmiotti though, that was a great combo)

Well, Joe Quesada is fantastic... UNLESS you're talkin' Spider-Man comics. Then it's just... blargh!

But, the man obviously does know what he's doing for everything else as he's put Marvel Comics back on the map not too long after the company filed for bankruptcy.

Actually, I'm surprised to see that Favreau had to ask him these questions. I guess he must not have been an Iron Man fan originally, then?

The tidbit about Thor has me excited about how much they seem to care about that movie, but I'm still wondering how they'll pull it off. That's going to be a really tricky movie to make attractive to the modern audience.

(Though it must be said, it's nice that we had the God of War video games to appeal to kids... at least mythology has a certain "coolness" factor these days.)

He actually doesn't say that much at all..or at least nothing we didn't already know about Favreau and Branagh

Iron Man: What's my motivation?

Thor: What my Dad means to me and why I carry a big hammer..

I hope he sticks to his word about Thor and makes it about character because we want to see someone developed and not just a god who doesn't speak or have emotion.
