  1. I’d say “wow, cool cosplay” but Judge Death looks more like artwork than a real person dressed up.

    • Well you couldn’t really get a better compliment. Costume looks like a piece of comic art: Mission accomplished.

      • That’s the thing though, if they’d said “here’s some comic art”, I’d praise it but it feels like those people who paid $750 for an Xbox One on ebay and ended up paying for just a photograph of one instead.

It’s like, I could paint a picture of Tank Girl and claim that’s me cosplaying as her, y’know? Which would be weird since I’m a guy but the sentiment is there.

        • I don’t really see the problem. I’ve seen this costume online before and it looks great. It’s hardly false advertising, It’s not like you’ve had to pay for it. Sure there is some shadowing cunningly added to make his limbs look thinner, but nobody is Judge Death thin. It’s a Comic cosplay, not a movie version cosplay. It’s more down to the styles of art that Dredd was often painted in. There was a period in the late 80′s/90′s when the most popular Dredd art (IMO) was the full colour painted strips, as opposed to the black and white/colour ink lineart of previous or the Computer coloured strips of today. That art in itself had a 3d quality to it. This costume reminds me of a theatre costume.

          • Huh, I just realised that he’s that thin. Maybe get Chrisitan BAle to play him if sequels do happen?

            • Or Doug Jones.
