The guy was good in Trek, but him being announced as Thor took all my excitement for the film away. Thor was a movie I was really looking forward to and now I don’t even care. I’ll watch it opening week and everything, but I don’t expect much from it.

He really was excellent in Star Trek and now I’ll be waiting impatiently for Thor, even though i know nothing of it! He was so good and heroic in star trek i had to double check it was him – that was too good for a home and away alum, lol.

That must have been some turn in Star Trek because the buzz about this guy is maddening…I haven’t seen Star Trek yet so…I can’t comment on it..

I’m pretty positive about a lot of the decisions being made about the Thor film. From the director to this casting choice for Thor, I think the film might surpass my expectations. Of course, I wasn’t even really that interested until I found out about Kenneth Branagh being involved. Hemsworth does project a heroic quality on the screen in “Star Trek,” and I can easily see how that might translate into other work, such as “Thor.”

I can’t believe I have to wait 2 years for this movie…. it’s going to be torture.

And i could be wrong, but it wasn’t Icarus’ wings that melted, but the wax that held the wings in place (his back). Someone can google it though.
