I think Mr. MNS is a talented director with different views and ideas alike common people.His direction is great and touchy.He is a master of suspense. But i would hope a better show from him than the HAPPENING .I think people has wrong views about LADY IN THE WATER.I like the courage shown in making such a movie,even risking a complete failure.

I think he’d be better off being a producer/guest director of an anthology TV series along the lines of Thriller, or to use a more recent example, Masters of Horror but in the thriller genre.

Gonna go with Panda on this one. The Village was one of the worst films I have ever seen, and I have not bothered seeing anymore of his films since.

Isn’t it funny how Shyamalan rhymes with snooze alarm…..

Wow!! What a tweest!!

M. Night had one suspensful twist that he’s failed to replicate after multiple tries.

I enjoyed Unbreakable too, but it wasn’t really suspenseful so I exclude it from my preceding remark. The rest of his films (post 6th Sense) all blew.

I suppose it was just a matter of time. Personally, I love his movies more than I hate them (except Lady in the Water). He seems like a modern Hitchcock to me the way he relies more on suspense and twist than gore for his scares as well as the cinematography of his films. And many of Hitch’s films didn’t get great reviews at the time, either. I for one am very interested to see what comes out of this project.

I loved unbreakable. It was truly one of the most underrated films in recent times.

Never really got round to the sixth sense though.
