Peter Jackson is Genius incarnate, his next, this, I am thoroughly looking forward to. I love the guy, I love his movies, his status, his approach, his effects companies, his support to emerging talent, his country. But man, that guys is sure looking miserable these days... On principle the industry should be a bit more supportive to one of its golden boys (a surefire box office draw, and all round nice bloke) instead of trodding on his bollocks all the time. Peter, if by chance you ever read this, do whatever you can to re-attain your fun and jovial nature. Those trollops in the executive lounge don't deserve you. You're top!

I think there are many people such as myself, who enjoys a brilliantly well made masterpiece fantasy movie like "the lord of the rings" and also enjoys a movie that is grounded on reality such as "heavenly creatures" and now the upcoming "the lovely bones".
That´s why i think Peter Jackson is a brilliant filmmaker, because he is able to triumph in both genres. Just like Spielberg, who is able to make fantasy movies like "et" and "jurrasic park" (none of those even compara to lotr by the way) and he is also able to make movies like "schindler´s list" and "munich" who are totaly grounded on reality. I am really looking forward to "the lovely bones".

I never Doubted Peter Jacksons Ability as a Film Maker and this looks like something i will truly enjoy (the question is in a Six sence way, or in a Always kind of way...
However, while i do believe Critics will adore this film i have a feeling the Viewers will not...

It seems these days in dire and hard times, people want to watch films that will help them escape reality and not make them think, or feel anything on an emotional level... that is why a movie like transformers destroys the Box Office, because it is mindless fun...
