Cheryl Childers and Josh Hyatt from Love After Lockup had intense chemistry between them, but that alone didn't let them have a happy ending. They appeared in season 2 of the Love After Lockup and majorly struggled with each other's attitude and, more importantly, Josh's mom, Tina Hyatt. So where are they today? Are they together?
On Love After Lockup, Cheryl talked about her fascination for falling for serial killers. It's good that she only fell for an ex-felon, Josh, who was incarcerated for six years for a bank robbery. But their love story was far from perfect. And to create more problems, Josh's mom, Tina, slapped Cheryl, though it was not shown by WE tv. The couple had a messy split on social media when Josh called his reality TV girlfriend "psycho" and "delusional." He further confirmed the break up by posting a picture with his new puppy by saying "my new girl." Season 2 of Love After Lockup was still on when fans learned that these two have broken up. Still, the show helped Love After Lockup viewers understand what problems led them to go separate ways.
According to Soapdirt, after Josh, Cheryl quickly started dating another guy. But that relationship also ended in the public eye. Her ex posted a couple of videos of her house and showed how messy that was. He also claimed that his ex-girlfriend isn't a good mother, and she was used to doing drugs. Since then, the Love After Lockup star seems to be single and focused on raising her children. Her IG grid is full of her happy selfies and adorable pictures with her kids. After breaking up with Cheryl, Josh also moved on with another pretty girl. His new lady love posted a few intimate shower pictures with him. However, the photos were soon deleted, suggesting that the relationship didn't work out. But, it seems like Josh has his life on track. Although it's pretty difficult for an ex-con to secure a job, Josh has maintained his work at a Colorado-based roofing company. He enjoys his time with his dog and often shares pictures with it.
Interestingly, he has also written a book called Message In Blood. The book is a "story of street justice" and available on Amazon. The paperback is $14.95, and the Kindle version costs $3.01. Josh also has an IG account, but he keeps it private. The Love After Lockup pair has moved on with their lives, and it doesn't seem like they would ever think of dating each other again. Earlier, Cheryl said that she doesn't have any hard feelings for her ex.
