LOST
Lost will be adding a new cast member to its sixth and final season. Deadwood’s John Hawkes (he played Jewish entrepreneur Sol Star) will join the Lost crew as Lennon, a ““Scruffy, edgy, charismatic, and slightly stir-crazy…spokesperson/translator for the president of a foreign corporation. He’s a wily negotiator, and far more powerful than his lowly position would seem to indicate.”
Hmmm… Could he be working for the nefarious Charles Widmore? Or perhaps the mysterious Hanso Corporation?
Guess we’ll find out for (semi-)sure when Lost returns next year.

Apparently, the 24 cast and crew are preparing Jack Bauer’s next day out to POSSIBLY be his last. In the event that Fox chooses to ax the show after its eighth season, the producers are filming several alternate season-enders that will either tie off the saga of Jack Bauer for good, or leave room for the show to live to fight another day.
Said producer Evan Katz: “We’re flexible. We have a scenario that would work well if the show ends. But we also have scenarios where it could go on.”
Hmmm… when DOES Jack Bauer start to overstay his welcome? If this upcoming season is as good as the last one, maybe it would be a good idea to go out on a high note. Judging from his nervous behavior at the Comic-Con 24 panel, star Kiefer Sutherland may be ready to move on…
24 returns in January.

Warehouse 13
Syfy’s Summer series Warehouse 13 has been something of a hit: after debuting in July to 3.5 million viewers, the cable series has managed to steadily however around the 3.7 million viewers mark every week.
Those strong numbers have made it a no-brainer for Syfy to order an additional 13 episodes of the show; Warehouse 13 season two will premiere next summer.
Sorry W13 fans, I know that’s a long time to wait – but you got to give the rest of us time to catch up / catch on!

Heroes
We’ve already posted a preview trailer and a super-speed fight clip from Heroes’ upcoming fifth volume, “Redemption”, in the hopes that at least SOME OF YOU out there are still on board for this show [cue crickets]…

So far, Warehouse 13 is a great show. I have a couple of episodes on DVR to watch still due to my work schedule, but so far, it is a fun show to watch. Glad to hear that it’s being picked up for another season.
I really REALLY hope that Lucas doesn’t screw up the Star Wars TV show. The animated series, from what I have watched, is crap. The animation is awful (I hate anime style) and there is no excuse for Lucas to have animation that poor. Can you imagine a Star Wars story with Disney type animation? THAT would be good. I don’t know how they can do the show without Darth Vader or Palpatine, though. I expect we’ll see brief glimpses of Luke and Leia growing up, but I also doubt we’ll see Han Solo. Guess we can just cross our fingers and hope for the best.
If Fox wants 24 to go out on a high note, they’d better cancel it after the 9th season. The uneven numbers are 24’s best… And I hope, if the show does get axed next year, they won’t let Jack die. That’s just too predictable.
Heroes… All I will say about the poster is they put their three most boring characters on it.
Warehouse 13 is a great show, IMHO. But I do miss the football.
No Darth Vader!!?? How could you have Star Wars without the reason for the whole story: Anakin Skywalker. This doesn’t sound good to me.
3 most boring characters? I might agree about Hiro and the cheerleader but I think Sylar is the best character of the show.
Sylar? BORING? Wow. That is not what I would have ever thought. To me, he is the BEST character on that show.
Gotta agree with you on Claire, though. Enough of the cheerleader already!

If the ratings are up from last season 24, will get a final season. But 9 will be its last I’m pretty sure.
Btw this upcoming season is going to be called “24-NY”, and its gonna more than likely be the best season since the awesome season 5.
Can I just say how happy I am that Joss Whedon is not only reusing his favorite actors, Eliza Dusku, Amy Acker, Alan Tudyk (Faith, Fred, and Wash from “Buffy,” “Angel,” and “Firefly” respectively) but also my favorite “Battlestar Galactica” actors Tahmoh Penikett, Mark Sheppard, and now Jamie Bamber and rumors of Micheal Hogan (ie: Helo, Lampkin, Apollo, and Tigh).
If the Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff (the Admiral and Starbuck) from “Battlestar” could show up along with Alyson Hannigan and David Boreanaz (Willow from “Buffy” and Angel from…”Angel”), I would be in SciFi heaven.
If FOX would continue to show that they have a pair and keep it on the air.

Fox has no balls. they are waiting to cancel Dollhouse
Definitely waiting for more Stargate movies- will buy them as soon as they hit the shelves- same with any Battlestar movies. Also can’t get enough of the figures from either one. Dollhouse deserves to be on for more than 13 episodes. It’s better than most of the Fox offerings. And not happy about Sarah Connor apparently being dumped. And SyFy needs to improve its movies on Saturday/Sunday nights- tired of the 50’s style cheese.
